• The manager Corwin Black was excellent.
• Three days no housekeeping had to leave room to get my clean towels.

“Good hotel but you should have room service housekeeping clean towels everyday.”

• The room came with a microwave oven and refrigerator.

“Hotel is conveniently located near the Interstate, the staff was very helpful and I believe on my next trip that this would be one of my first choices for hotel rooms.”

• The price.
• It is not "recently renovated", the room smelled, the staff was hard to find.

“I had to wait to check in, I had to wait for help with my key, the room reeked, and the overall condition of the hotel was poor, despite their website describing it as renovated. The bed was not comfortable, the TV was small and the picture was actually blurry. The glasses were not clean. Personally, I will never stay there or recommend it to anyone.”

• It is perfect for what I need and at every reasonable price.
• Entrance from the street to the hotel parking lot is very poor. My back bumper was hitting the road.

“Hotel staff was very nice and helpful with check in taking only a few minutes. The room was clean with everything I needed. The area of the hotel was quiet and right next to the freeway which is perfect for traveling.”

• The comforters on the bed were quite stained.

“Nice place if you are looking to stay for a night or two, but there are not enough parking spaces for the rooms and there was quite a bit of trash in the parking lot. But for a one night stay it is more than adequate.”

“Hotel: Homestead Suites ' North Druid Hills Atlanta, GA. Room Occupied: Room 359 Period of stay: 13 April 2007 to 18 April 2007I have stayed over at the Homestead on several previous occasions and normally stay for between 5-7 days and have over-all had a very good experience and stay in the past, but this stay was not the same. Some of the reasons I choose this hotel is the kitchenette, easy and ample parking, ease in accessing rooms, availability of wireless internet, the great location and last but not least the affordability. This stay was filled with small but mountable issues. The room on first sight looked like it did in the past by it was not long before I noticed several things that and the following issues arose:1. The carpet was not clean or vacuumed and there were 'Snicker' candy wrappers next to the bed and the bed stand. 2. After my trip I decided to take a shower and during the shower found that the water was backing up around my feet and particles rose from the drain and was drifting around my feet in the dirty shower water. I also noticed that the shower curtain was dirty or stained and had some paint and fungus on it. The shower-head was also one of the worst I have ever experienced and would make a huge difference if it was replaced. 3. Because of the available kitchenette I am able to stock and prepare my own meals. The problem however was that the room had no spoons (table or tea), no bowls for example cereal and there was only 1 fork and 1 butter knife. There was no sharp knife or any of the usual basic cutlery or crockery. This made having any meal or even cereal for breakfast very difficult. 4. I went past reception and mentioned these problems to the receptionist, Anthony, said that due to the fact that it is almost 10pm that there is not much he could do until the morning. He did not make a note of my room number, the problems and no follow-up or effort was made to correct any of these issues.”

• The location was excellent; right near a main highway.
• Someone had been smoking in the room before we got there even though the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking.

“Outside appearance is nice. Rooms are starting to look worn out. Has kitchenette but no silverware. Overall, worth the price.”

• I liked the location, the price (they actually charged me less than quoted price. The room was simple but very comfortable with all we needed and eve.
• Shower design could be better.

• Had a kitchenette and was near the highway in a safe section of town.
• No daily maid service for linens or towels and an ill equipped kitchenette.

“Overall very nice but the kitchen in the room, a reason I wanted it, was ill equipped-no coffee in room daily, no cleaning supplies other than table rags-but still very nice and met my needs adequately-desk staff was excellent and the housekeeping responsive with requests.”
