“Have stayed in hotel 3 times. Always enjoy convenience of location and friendly staff. Noticing more and more hotel needs a detail makeover/upgrade. Maybe just the 5th floor or our room this time around, but paint jobs sloppy, doors in ill repair with major gaps at bottom causing hallway noise to enter room. Windows not sealed properly allowing outside traffic and air handler noise to enter room. Lamps bent or not tightened down, air system not functioning as it should. Overall, for a hotel in this location with this branding, there should be a bit more attention to detail. Don't want to see it go down hill.”

“It's time for this property to undergo an upgrade. It's not a dump, mind you, but you can see it's about that time. We checked into the hotel on Friday, and from that evening, we asked repeatedly for someone to come unclog the bathtub. It didn't happen until Sunday night. We left Monday morning.”

“Great location, front desk staff went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied. And Example: when asked what time we had to be out by (we had a morning commitment and an evening flight) I said that we would like to have use of the room until noon. He said that he could have the room until 3PM.”

“I was at the hotel during the MLK weekend. At 3:00 in the morning on both Thursday and Friday nights, they are in the hall screaming. I got no sleep. I would not return under any circumstances.”

“This hotel is conveniently located near public transit and restaurants. The facilities are in line with a three star hotel, but the service was disappointing. The staff was unresponsive and sometimes appeared completely disinterested in the comfort of their guests.”

“This hotel is an adequate place to stay in Atlanta. It is close to the Subway, and there is a mall and several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is a little run down, and some of the staff is blatantly uninterested in the comfort of their guests.”

“This hotel is beyond its prime. Even though it is conveniently located in Buckhead it is not worth the price. It reelects its age in the obvious layers of repair and remodel visible as you walk through the rooms and halls.”

“The hotel is broken down into two buildings, the room tower and convention center. The room tower appeared to be acceptable, but the convention tower rooms are sub par, at best. If the hotel is overbooked, prepaid travelers are given these rooms, which are not in keeping with pealing wallpaper, broken trim, sticking doors, and a 5 minute wait for hot water. If I were to book directly with Sheraton, I would not accept a room in the convention center. As a pre paid traveler, I had no choice and little recourse to the situation.”

“I was lead to believe that Buckhead was the "nightlife" district of Atlanta, but it was not. There were only a few places to go to and they all closed early. I think in the future Ill stay in a different part of Atlanta.”

“The hotel was okay. Our room was on the garden level that smelled awful. The door to the patio would not open. And our reservation was for a king room and we ended up in a room with two full size beds. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking for a romantic getaway.”

“I did not find the front desk particularly friendly. The room originally assigned had not been cleaned yet and had an awful view. The second room had a terrible view as well. The hotel was clean; the bed was very comfortable, and otherwise fine.”

“Sheraton or Star wood properties need to take a look at this one. In need of love. Tremendous TLC. Hair in showers, water supply short, several mistakes on checking in, parking situation not organized, food is awful, personnel inexperienced, shouted my room number across the lobby to the supposed valet. Beds and linens old, with holes, lumpy, lamp shades broken. All in all very disappointing. I will not stay at this location again.”

“The Sheraton Atlanta was good for the price I paid and its convenient location. However, I was expecting little more amenities for the star level and was disappointed. You had to call down to the front desk and go through a process to pay for internet in your room. There was no pay per view available on the television. I would stay here again but I would realize that my decision would be for convenience to Lenox and midtown Atlanta only.”

“I would not rate this as 3 star hotel until it has been updated and the water damage has been dealt with properly. The first room I was in smelled like the cheap motels I stayed in as a teenager. There was a water leak and black mold. The next room, several floors up did not smell any better and the door had to be slammed shut and forced open every time you come and go. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was descent, the lobby looks nice and the rooms looked descent but a little outdated. I would not recommend this hotel unless the rating was changed to 1 or 2 star and the price was adjusted accordingly.”
