• Nice room and location is great.
• Hotel attendant booked room near construction.

“The hotel is beautiful, in a great location and the staff is usually very helpful. However, this visit was less than par. The front desk attendant was rude and did not ask for any preferences about my room. Furthermore, she booked my room on the first floor with construction right outside my window that was very noise the next morning at 8 am. I did not have a very restful or pleasant stay after being awakened by noisy construction equipment all morning. I could have stayed in any room in that hotel, I am not picky, but was booked in the worst room location the hotel had to offer. I am not pleased.”

• The room itself was beautiful and so comfortable.
• $20 parking everyday and paying for wireless connection.

“My stay was very relaxing. Although there was major construction happening next door, I was not disturbed nor did I hear any noise. Lennox Mall was in walking distance and the Hotel was just beautiful. Its my 2nd time staying there and hopefully not my last.”

• The hotel is perfectly located in bulkhead in the middle of everything and staff was eager and ready to accommodate you.
• The only complaints we had was the wall paper was peeling in certain spots and some electrical outlets were hanging off or didn't work at all.

“We loved it! Perfectly located, (construction going on all around and that still didn't take away form the experience) friendly and helpful staff greeted us with most warm smile and the most delicious cookies (also warm). Would definitely stay again and recommend a thousand times over!”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• There was not a fridge in the room.

“This hotel is located in a very nice area and has great restaurants and upscale shopping stores located walking distance from the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed my star. The only negative was that the hotel didn't have a fridge in it.”

• The room was immaculate.
• They charge $25/night for valet parking when there is a much cheaper garage out back.

“Only a couple of complaints. First, wireless is $12/day. Every hotel in this great nation of ours should be giving away high speed internet access. Second, the front desk told me the valet was $25/day after I had parked and that self-parking was $20. Actually, self-parking was only $14 in the garage behind the hotel, so do that instead.”

• No free WiFi. Hard to spot from nearest busy street.

“I could not have asked for a better room for the money. The valet parking was great and the staff was very courteous. The room was clean and very well taken care of. I will stay there again.”

• Thin walls.

“I had two nights in Atlanta and slept very poorly in the Double Tree due to a neighbor that talked until 3:30 in the morning. The hallways constantly had doors shutting and people talking down those corridors. I slept one hour. The second night, the reception called me at 4:00 AM to ask if my fire alarm was not set off. It wasn't, but I couldn't go back to sleep. So I got 4 hours sleep. The managers were understanding and waived the extra expenses I incurred, but due to the very thin walls, I would not sleep there again.”

• It had warm, delicious chocolate cookies when I checked in and offered as many as I wanted. Excellent.
• Walls not as sound proof as they could be. I was disturbed at 2 in the morning by drunks in the hall.

“Staff helpful. Friendly. Bed linens and towels were top quality. Beds comfortable. Rooms a little small but adequate.”

• It was confidently located to Close to the highways.
• I did not like the bed sizing and floor location. Also the 24 hour valet was not 24 hours.

“This hotel was nice in appearance. The room was a double with two full-size beds and we traveled with four adults! I wish we were able to select the bed sizing at booking. We paid for valet parking and coming in from a night on the town in the wee hours we had to park our own car in a deck. The deck required us to walk outside in the rain and being we were tired it was not pleasant. Other wise the location was great! Also we were on the first floor near a main entrance door to the floor right at the bar and in the front of the hotel. We could hear people come in and out on the floor and people outside coming and going. This room particularly should not be rented because of the location.”

“Small room and small bathroom. Slow drains. Next door construction goes on 7 days a week. Daily parking expenses not insignificant. Good free am coffee.”

• Loved how clean it was and the presentation and location are the best.
• The bed and pillows are too soft, gave me a back pain. Not comfortable at all.

“Very clean and perfect location. The hotel presentation very nice, you feel like you want to stay more time in the hotel. The only 2 bad things, have to pay $20 bucks for parking and some of the employees were in a bad mood.”
