  • Excellent bed and nice appointments.
  • Bath tub and tile was old and dated.

“I never like having to pay for internet when I stay at hotels. I feel that is a service to be provided as a courtesy. The room was excellent and had a wonderful view.”

  • Entrance beautiful, staff friendly.
  • Room was musty, carpets not clean, garage sale furniture.

“The room I had was small, musty, unkept with garage sale furnishing, some things worked some did not. Not at all what I was expecting. Motel 8 is generally in better repair. Everything was extra, so bring things to do if you had planned on free TV (of any kind) unless you have willing to pay the fees, internet access is $10 a day. It was close to where I was going but not a place I would stay again.”

  • Convenient.
  • 20$ valet parking. Loud noises all through the night.

  • Good location.
  • No breakfast, hotel needs to be redone.

“Room carpets were very dirty, the refrigerator door and shelves were broken, toilet did not flush correctly, had to request maintenance twice.”

  • Very friendly staff.
  • Dirty, run down, old carpet, torn wallpaper and mold in bathroom!

“Starting off with the positives, Midtown Hotel has a friendly staff and is conveniently located in Midtown Atlanta with good parking options. On the negatives, this was the dumpiest hotel I've been inside in a really long time. The bathroom had mold in the shower and on the shower head as well as on the coffee maker sitting on the sink! The blanket and bedspread both had stains on them, and the carpet has obviously not been upgraded in at least six years. Wallpaper was torn off the walls, the paint was faded and scuffed, and the furniture was in serious need of an upgrade.”

  • Very convenient to Midtown restaurants, attractions, etc.
  • Not that bad, just outdated furnishings.

“If you're looking to be right in the heart of Midtown this is a nice location. Very convenient, even walking distance, to some well known restaurants. Decor is very outdated in the rooms and the hallways very dreary. Other than that, not a bad stay.”

  • The rooms are nice sized and comfortable; great for business traveler.
  • Self-parking leaves much to be desired.

“The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The work area is a good size with enough room for laptop, books, etc. Valet parking is reasonable with in/out privileges; however the self-parking is undesirable. You can only park your vehicle on the top floor of the parking garage, which is exposed.”

  • Clean; staff was courteous, friendly, extremely helpful; promptly service and restaurant was nice.
  • Self parking was not convenient so we used valet.

“From the time we drove up to check in, staff was right on the spot to help. I didn't have to even open a door for myself the entire visit. Everyone was friendly and beyond helpful. The room was clean with more than adequate amenities provided. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and courteous, and food was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

  • They put me on the 10th floor that required room key access. I felt safe there.
  • The room was lovely except for the carpet, old and dirty.

“I liked the staff and the workout area was clean and sufficient. I especially liked the 10th floor room key access. I would recommend this hotel to my fellow business executives.”

  • They charge 15$ parking and yet you have to park in the 9th floor, drag your suit cases down a flight of stairs to reach the elevator.

“The hotel was dirty - looks like the rugs haven't been cleaned in 20 years, the bathtub look awful and the parking is so inconvenient and yet they charge 15$ for it! More like a 2-2.5 star hotel! Will not recommend at all.”

  • Comfortable room, very clean, friendly staff, quiet, great location.
  • If you don't valet your car the parking garage for hotel guests is a pain.

“This hotel is my Midtown Atlanta favorite. It's blocks from the highway, blocks from the Park, walking distance to coffee, restaurants, and bars. Great hotel, great stay.”

  • The staff was wonderful and the hotel lobby was decorated very nicely.
  • The carpet was old and dirty and the room decor was very outdated.

“It would be a perfect hotel if the rooms were updated. Everything minus the room itself was 3 star. I wouldn't stay again unless the rooms were updated!”

  • The room were clean.
  • The room was very noisy.

“We were disappointed with many things during our stay. The self parking was located on the 9th floor of the garage. The elevator went to the 8th floor and then you walked up. Your safety was debatable in getting to your car. We were approached several times by questionable people while getting our car. The front desk staff was friendly but at times lacked a professional manner. Our room had a connecting door which we could clearly hear our neighbors through. The location of this hotel is on the ambulance and police routes to local hospitals, so we heard many sirens all night. It was our worst hotel experience we've ever had.”

  • It was very close to restaurants and close to downtown.
  • Everything costs extra - needs updating.

“Plan to spend $20/day on valet parking. Breakfast is extra, Wi-Fi is extra. The pool and hot tub were good. Not fancy, but it worked for our kids. Location was great. We wanted to be close to IKEA and it was only 1.5 miles away.”

  • Nice bed and location.
  • Parking spot is located on 9th level and the elevator is up to 8th level.

“The hotel location is good. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very kind and friendly. But, the parking lot for guests is located on the 9th level. And the elevator is only up to 8th level. So I used the stairs with my baggage. Other than that, this hotel is fine.”
