“The room was clean and the location is very convenient to the Georgia Dome. I would recommend this hotel.”

“The staff was very nice, very friendly from the moment we walked in. The room had a great view of the city. The bed was very comfortable, the shower very clean. I loved the colorful walls and the nice pictures. They make it feel very homey.”

“This hotel is a nightmare. We stayed there in March 2007; it was in active demolition and remodeling stage and it should not be open for business. The hotel owner lied to us on everything. It was dirty everywhere, no breakfast, the elevator was yellow taped, it was dust, and dirt everywhere. The staff was abusive and very rude. We never had such a horrifying hotel stay in our lives, when we tried to complain to the hotel manager he attacked us verbally. Stay away from this place.”

“When we got there, it wasn't even the "Travelodge" anymore. It was then the red roof inn. The entire hotel was being torn up and repainted, surfaced, etc. Everything was dusty, there was hardly anyone at the hotel except for us and they knocked down the nightly rates to 66.75 per night -- a lot less than what I paid. Therefore, I want the difference back.”

“If I were two people, we would both stay here again. The hotel is currently (March 2007) under renovation. My room is on the first floor, quiet, and beautifully appointed. There is free wireless in the room and free breakfast snack (coffee, juice, packaged rolls and croissants). I am attending a conference at the Hilton, which is half a block away. My planned roomier had a last minute conflict, and there was no way I could afford the Hilton without her. This is actually more convenient. Construction currently means the lobby and hallways are dry wall dust, and there are no seats or tables for breakfast.”

“The newly remodeled room was never inspected. The cable TV was not connected no coat hangers, no safe, and no hair dryer. The bathroom door would not close because of the new tile floor and because the toilet stuck out too far to shut the door. "Breakfast" is coffee, juice, and a mini muffin. This hotel is in a great location but really should not be open for business until after the remodeling is completed and inspected.”

“I am in business and totally understand. The hotel was in major renovations. They were very accommodating regarding their renovations. I would stay there again. I would stay there again.”

“The hotel was under construction. Everything was a mess. Some of the staff was very unfriendly. I felt I had to sanitize the bathroom myself. There were "fresh stains" on the blanket carpet was filthy. I will never stay there again!”

“Great location. Easy access. Friendly staff. Appears to be an old hotel that has been recently re-opened. It has small rooms with a "picky" scent to them. Parking is under the hotel with not very good lighting. There is wireless Internet in the lobby, but no Internet in the rooms. If you do not have wireless capabilities, you are out of luck. If I had to visit Atlanta again, and was on a tight budget, I would choose this one.”

“This was a complete disaster! The hotel was dirty, mold on the ceiling, dirty carpet. The manager was verbally abusive to my 3 friends as well as myself. We all left after about 30 minutes, we lost our money. I would NOT suggest this hotel to anyone for any reason!!!”

“For the price ($100) I could have stayed just outside of downtown and driven in. The floor was so covered in soggy grime that it stuck to my feet when I walked. The ceiling was literally caving in, and I was given an outside room that was difficult to get to (other guests had inside rooms). The staff were extremely friendly, but I would recommend paying a little more for the nicer hotels nearby. The Hilton is a block down and several other hotels are located just a few blocks away. Would not recommend this hotel to even the cheapest traveler. ”

“I am glad that I did not travel with my family. I surely would have had to find another place to stay. After the first day, I contracted Athletes foot fungus. I believe I contracted this from the shower floor in the hotel room. I sought rubbing alcohol swabs from the hotel for immediate use. Later I had to find a pharmacy to buy an ointment for treatment. Rest of the two days I used one of the towel to lay in the shower to stand on for showering. I am sorry but I would not recommend the hotel to anybody.”

“The hotel itself is run down, in need of paint and repair, almost all of the doors had been kicked in so much that the bottoms were flimsy and week. Paint was falling from the ceiling of the shower and there was mold/mildew. The hallways and public areas were dark. The redeeming factor of this hotel, besides its awesome location close to everything downtown, was the staff. The housekeeping ladies were friendly and did an excellent job each day. The front desk staff, Ben and Tiffany, were the only reason we stayed after we saw the condition of the hotel. Ben was the best front desk manager of any place I've seen, including any $600/night places my company had sent me. Make the rest of the hotel as good as Ben, and it will outshine all of those pricey hotels that surrounds it.”

“The reception staff were very pleasant and professional. However, the carpet in the room was damp and stained. The ceiling was corroded, and for just a little more money, I could have stayed in a hotel that was habitable while I was in downtown Atlanta. I recommend that none stay in this hotel unl
