  • I really enjoyed the staff. They were very friendly.
  • There was no refrigerator in the rooms and no mini bar.

“This hotel was amazing. Staff was very pleasant.”

  • New decor.

“Very pleasant, clean, neat but nothing extra special.”

  • Conveniently located across from train station.
  • Lack of free WiFi in rooms.

“This was an excellent hotel and I was delighted with the Priceline experience. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a wonderful view of downtown Atlanta.”

  • The decorum was very nice and classy. The room was nice as well - large enough for not being a suite.
  • I did not like having to pay for parking. The savings I got on priceline was reduced because I had to pay to park there.

“The hotel was very nice. It had an upscale feel to it. Although the room was not a suite it was nice a comfortable and decorated very well. I liked that it offered free internet access which is always useful for business travelers.”

  • Good lobby presentation.
  • Valet parking too expensive.

  • Superb.
  • Expensive parking; $29/day or $15/day but clock starts over each use of car.

“Heart of Atlanta, walking distance to Georgia Tech baseball field, as well as downtown shopping, eating, entertainment etc.”

  • Location.
  • Small television.

“This hotel was in a great location and has lots of amenities for the family or business traveler. I would recommend this hotel. They have valet parking which was a bit pricey, but overall, I would stay again.”

  • Comfortable bed.
  • Hard to find and hard to get back on interstate.

“Room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the small balcony.”

  • It is close to the Georgia Aquarium and The Varsity restaurant.
  • The beds are too small for 2 people, the parking is too expensive, $28 per day, it is too noisy, located right beside a hospital emergency room.

“The parking was too expensive (28 per day). It is located next to a hospital emergency room and is very noisy, with sirens all day and night. The breakfast buffet is too expensive for the quality of the food in the restaurant at breakfast. We did not eat there for any other meal. The rooms are fine, but not 4 star. Beds are too small for 2 adults. It is close to the Georgia Aquarium and the Varsity restaurant is just around the corner. However, the Varsity is the only thing withing walking distance. Downtown and any attraction requires transportation. Overall, we would probably not choose to stay here again.”

  • It was clean, great view, roomy, attractive, but a little noisy.
  • Noisy because ambulances were coming/going to hospital across the street.

“Wonderful view of downtown, clean, convenient to public transportation, economically priced with Priceline discount. Hospital noise is loud so consider rooming on side facing midtown.”

  • Excellent room service and meals.
  • Nothing.

“A lovely room with a balcony that overlooked downtown. All personnel were very courteous and called me by name. Very comfortable bed.”

  • Located in downtown. Room view was great.
  • Unhelpful staff (except housekeeping). No info about hotel in room, so had to keep calling the front desk.

“This hotel was not up to par for a Renaissance. No info about the hotel was given at check-in, (not even how to get to the elevators). For example: WiFi is free in the lobby/lounge, but costs $13.99 from your room; the hairdryer is in the closet; there is a pool (on the roof); hours of room service; room service menu; kiosk to print boarding passes is in lobby, etc. Staff told me they no longer leave an info book in the rooms, but did not know why. Gift shop items were priced like a theme park gift shop. Concierge was curt. Had to eat in the lounge because the restaurant closed 30 min early; food was mediocre. Bed was comfortable; room ceiling was peeling, but the view from the balcony was great; mold in bath tile; towels had hair in them; WiFi was extremely slow. There is a hospital nearby, so ambulance sirens are heard throughout the night. I have paid less than this for a much nicer hotel downtown in a major city (on Priceline). Very disappointing.”

  • Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff.
  • Pool not in service, noise, no internet.

“Hotel was nice, disappointed pool did not open until after we left, no internet service, noise was loud at times.”

“Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms were well appointed and quiet.”

  • Only valet parking $28.00 was way too much.

“The hotel itself was really nice. We had a great view of Atlanta from our 22nd story balcony. The only bad things were the hotel only has valet parking which was too much in my book $28 per night and the ambulance sirens all night long.”

  • Large, clean room, comfortable bed and staff was helpful.

“This hotel is located in Midtown section of Atlanta.”

  • Great location.

“This hotel was awesome! The staff was friendly and the hotel was perfect for our spring break trip to the GA.”

  • Large room, room service prompt, great view.
  • Had to tell housekeeping 4-5 times that I was checking out at noon. Continued to interrupt me and try to get into my room to clean. Parking.

“Good: Great location; large, clean room with really nice bedding and decor; great view with private balcony. Bad: Across the street parking: There were signs posted about recent break-ins that made me feel very uneasy and unsafe. The level I was in was very dark, even at noon when I left. Also, valet was $28 - too much.”
