“This was an excellent hotel and I was delighted with the Priceline experience. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a wonderful view of downtown Atlanta.”

“The hotel was very nice. It had an upscale feel to it. Although the room was not a suite it was nice a comfortable and decorated very well. I liked that it offered free internet access which is always useful for business travelers.”

“This hotel was in a great location and has lots of amenities for the family or business traveler. I would recommend this hotel. They have valet parking which was a bit pricey, but overall, I would stay again.”

“The parking was too expensive (28 per day). It is located next to a hospital emergency room and is very noisy, with sirens all day and night. The breakfast buffet is too expensive for the quality of the food in the restaurant at breakfast. We did not eat there for any other meal. The rooms are fine, but not 4 star. Beds are too small for 2 adults. It is close to the Georgia Aquarium and the Varsity restaurant is just around the corner. However, the Varsity is the only thing withing walking distance. Downtown and any attraction requires transportation. Overall, we would probably not choose to stay here again.”

“Wonderful view of downtown, clean, convenient to public transportation, economically priced with Priceline discount. Hospital noise is loud so consider rooming on side facing midtown.”

“This hotel was not up to par for a Renaissance. No info about the hotel was given at check-in, (not even how to get to the elevators). For example: WiFi is free in the lobby/lounge, but costs $13.99 from your room; the hairdryer is in the closet; there is a pool (on the roof); hours of room service; room service menu; kiosk to print boarding passes is in lobby, etc. Staff told me they no longer leave an info book in the rooms, but did not know why. Gift shop items were priced like a theme park gift shop. Concierge was curt. Had to eat in the lounge because the restaurant closed 30 min early; food was mediocre. Bed was comfortable; room ceiling was peeling, but the view from the balcony was great; mold in bath tile; towels had hair in them; WiFi was extremely slow. There is a hospital nearby, so ambulance sirens are heard throughout the night. I have paid less than this for a much nicer hotel downtown in a major city (on Priceline). Very disappointing.”

“The hotel itself was really nice. We had a great view of Atlanta from our 22nd story balcony. The only bad things were the hotel only has valet parking which was too much in my book $28 per night and the ambulance sirens all night long.”

“Good: Great location; large, clean room with really nice bedding and decor; great view with private balcony. Bad: Across the street parking: There were signs posted about recent break-ins that made me feel very uneasy and unsafe. The level I was in was very dark, even at noon when I left. Also, valet was $28 - too much.”
