• Dirty carpets, worn towels, terrible dinner.

• The atmosphere was a fun experience.
• Parking is way too expensive for the hotel.

“We had a pleasant stay and the room was comfortable. The room itself was no nicer than the 2 star hotels we have stayed at, but the lobby area and the restaurants were a great deal nicer. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was great and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.”

• Excellent hotel; very clean and friendly staff.
• I just did not like it that I had to pay for parking.

“This is a nice older hotel. I can tell by the carpeting and bathroom. This hotel is located in an area more convenient for business travelers.”

“Great place for anyone having business in Downtown Atlanta. A $2.00 Marta Fare, each way saved a car rental and exorbitant parking rates.”

• They gave us the upgrade to continental breakfast for executives at no additional cost.
• Paying for parking when you are a overnight guest.

• The beds and pillows were fabulous.

“I would stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Atlanta. The hotel was convenient, had a great breakfast buffet, and had the most comfortable beds and pillows of any hotel I have ever stayed in.”

• The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
• Wireless internet was an additional fee of about $15.00/ 24 hours.

“The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very helpful, polite and friendly. The beds are amazingly comfortable with luxurious down comforters. There is a beautiful skyline view from the upper floors. The hotel is only a short walk away from major attractions like the World of Coca Cola and the Georgia Aquarium and a $10 cab fare from the Braves ballpark. The hotel has several dining options and an in-house "drug store" with reasonably priced snacks and souvenirs.”

• I liked the overall look of the hotel and the room.
• My Wi-Fi would not work in the room.

“This hotel was very nice and clean. The overall appearance on the inside was beautiful, well kept. I would definitely stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a relaxing atmosphere. The airport shuttle was a great help for my flight leaving in the early morning hours.”

• The room was nice and it was large.
• Convention was going on and it was crawling with teenagers and long wait for elevator.

“Overall, it was very nice. Because of the convention, there was quite a long wait for the elevators which was a hassle. But the room was large and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. Shower was good too.”

• The employees family seems to use the pool and not care about guest.

“This hotel was quite a bit nicer than the Westin in the same area. I would like to stay here again. I feel the parking fees should be included in the room though. They were a little steep for parking!”

• Friendly staff. Hotel location is very convenient to Downtown.
• Noisy, doors slamming all night.

“This hotel has a very friendly, accommodating staff. Clean rooms, good location for Downtown access. The only complaints I have are that the rooms need to be updated somewhat, TV was pretty small, and the noise from the common areas. All night I could hear people talking in the hall and slamming doors!”

• I like the facilities - i.e. the basketball court, tennis court, pool, gym.
• The concierge wasn't helpful at all. Any time I needed directions or recommendations on where to go, they were clueless.

“I was a little disappointed. The staff was overall friendly, but they were not able to answer any questions about where things were located. Thank goodness for Atlanta's street Ambassadors who were first class and very knowledgeable.”

• I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel is very spacious.
• The parking cost $17 a day and the pool is pretty small.

“I stayed at The Hilton Atlanta on May 24, 2008. The room was nice but my view wasn't the best. I recommend the view over looking the pool and the city. The pool is rather small for a big hotel.”

• The staff was very helpful, and kind to my young (4yo) children.
• Long wait at the front desk for check-in, and check-out.

“I enjoyed my stay. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. The location in Downtown Atlanta was perfect for a visit to the Georgia Aquarium. I would stay here on my next visit to Atlanta.”
