• I really liked its location because of all the nearby amenties.
• Could use automatic doors in fromnt.

• Unwilling to accommodate room change request due to noisy.

“Although I am usually happy with any Marriott affiliate, the staff here were disappointing. I booked this hotel less than a few miles from my home to give my wife a break from an two infants when we had a sitter. She tried to sleep in the afternoon, but couldn't because of banging on the floor above. After 20 minutes of this, we asked the staff to be moved, and they refused, saying the pounding was due to cleaning in the room above and would be over in 5 minutes. When it was not over in 15 minutes, we went home. We did not return until after midnight. There was no reason to rent this room. They even noticed how close our address was a check in, and we explained we rented it because my wife was exhausted due to children.”

• Wonderful front desk staff - really friendly and very helpful.
• Location was too far from East Lansing and Michigan State Campus.

“We were really pleased with the staff. Room was clean and okay - nothing fabulous. Location was just too far from East Lansing and Michigan State Univeristy where we had to be.”

• Television cable was hanging by a thread and had poor reception.

“The staff told me there will be a renovation soon, which is good - the facility is clean but old.”

• Wonderful breakfast buffet!
• The room smelled rather funny, despite being non-smoking.

“Hotel was in a convenient location, right off of the expressway. Hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast buffet had a great variety and was a great start to the day! The rooms were not particularly nice, but suited our needs for a one night stay.”

• Very friendly staff. Great hotel. Comfortable beds and great breakfast!
• The only thing I didn't like was that the ice machine on the 2nd floor was empty my whole stay.

• USA Today delivered every morning. Receipt delivered to room.
• One computer in the eating area that was in constant use. Need another computer!

“The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing missing was a sign over the computer that says, "Please limit your session to 15 minutes so others may use the computer". One woman was doing email for 3 hours (and on her cell phone!) while I waited to download papers I needed for a meeting the next morning.”

• The room was pleasant, very clean, and well worth the money. Free internet included!
• The trash container outside the hotel needed to be emptied the first night, and during the night, animals scattered the trash even more...

“Hotel is far enough off the road to be very quiet. The room was immaculate, with lots of pillows on the bed. Internet service is throughout the hotel, without a password and through Ethernet -- included with the room charge! The bed was comfortable. There were also free cookies and newspapers in the front lobby, and a substantial buffet breakfast was provided. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again.”

• Pool area was clean and inviting. Not crowded.
• I would have liked a mini fridge and microwave in the room.

“Overall a pleasant experience. The expanded continental breakfast was a hit with the kids. The pool/spa were clean and well maintained. The location was great for access to the MSU campus.”

• The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I liked the bedding (not the typical old bedspread).
• The in-room coffee pot in our room did not work well.

“We were very pleased with the room. It was very comfortable and very clean. My husband and I had a great night's sleep because the bed was so comfortable. The continental breakfast was great and the hotel had someone who did a wonderful job of keeping the breakfast area clean and restocked. We were happy to get a room of this quality for the price.”
