• Freshly updated, off the beaten path but close to Michigan state university, restaurants and shopping.
• Couldn't find anything I didn't like except that there were reservations for two rooms and I had only reserved one. That, hopefully, was handled.

“Great location, great price, quiet, comfortable and freshly updated. The staff was friendly and the room service was great. Don't tell anyone because it's a great hidden secret especially for visiting MSU parents and family.”

• Very roomy felt more like an apartment.
• No indoor pool.

• They upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom suite because my mother came with us.
• Nothing -- it was wonderful!

• Good location and pleasant surroundings.
• TV faced sofa and not the bed.

“It would be a nice place to stay traveling with younger children. The convenience of having a full size refrigerator and stove would be nice to have when staying for a longer visit.”

• The kitchenette was useful in preparing snacks.
• I reserved a crib, but when I checked in I was told that there were no cribs available.

“This hotel is best suited for extended stay business travelers who do not require wireless internet.”

• The kitchen and large bathroom.
• Nothing.

• Lobby area should be cleaner and also carpet in hallways.

• It was off the main road, in a woods and quiet.
• No phone book in room; bed sunken in middle - not good for two people.

“It was similar to time-share condos we've stayed in, clean and roomy. Nice to have dishes, refrigerator, etc.”

• This was an excellent facility, clean, modern, well equipped and the staff was friendly.
• Nothing.

• This was one of the better properties for Townplace suites
• everything was great at the East Lansing property

• Location, Staff was very friendly, Hotel room was excellent!!

“Hotel was convenient to everything in downtown and to the ice arenas we played at. Rooms were very clean and comfy. Also very quiet. Nobody missed not having a pool or hot tub. Will recommend to family and friends.”

• It had a frig, and microwave.
• We had to walk outside to get to the exercise room and no whirlpool.

• Staff was helpful and it was easy to move around the larger room.
• I was uanble to get a non-feather pillow, and ended up with a massive migrane from allergies.

“It was in a relaxing location with easy access to the MSU campus and the Meridian Mall area. The staff was helpful and the kitchenette was nice.”

“We were very happy with our stay at the Towneplace Suites in E. Lansing, MI. It was the best suite we have ever stayed in. It even had a dishwasher and small stove with oven. It was also well-decorated and very clean. We loved it!”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was ready, very clean. All appliances were ready for use and clean. There was both coffee (even decaf) and tea on hand. We had plenty of towels, washcloths, soap and shampoo.”
