• Cheap.
• Key had to be Reprogrammed every time we left/first 2 1/2 days.

• Intermit did not work. Room was not well sound proofed. Room dirty.

“The Homestead Atlanta-Cumberland set the tone for the stay when I entered the room and the carpet which was used for baseboard trim had fallen off the wall next to the bed. I called the front desk when the internet would not work to suggest resetting it, and was told, "No one else has complained." Incidentally the internet at a neighboring Holiday Inn Express worked immediately. The internet was never fixed during my four day stay. Later I realized that no one else had complained because on my second day when I did get a neighbor in my building, I heard every step, TV program and activity they engaged in. This hotel makes Motel 6 look like the Hilton Hotel.”

• The staff was excellent.
• The room was very dirty.

“The staff was extremely attentive and efficient. The room itself was filthy. The staff's friendliness made up for the lack of cleanliness. It is located centrally. The staff did not know much about the mass transit travel in the area. They told me the Marta was located close by. The Marta system is not available in that area.”

• Desk clerk was a very nice young man.
• I selected Marietta and you placed me in Smyrna - 8 miles from my destination.

“No pool, no workout facility, seemed safe. Grounds well maintained. A place to sleep. My remark in 14 has happened twice - the first time you put me in a Hyatt place that was being remodeled into a super upscale hotel - I got one of the new rooms, so no big complaint.”

• The location was good and the customer service person was helpful when I checked out.
• The hotel room was very dirty.

“We were not happy with the stay at Homestead Atl. When we checked in the person at the front desk was not very helpful. When I was at the front desk talking to him he made at least two personal phone calls. The room was very dirty I had to clean the tub, sinks, fridge and counters before we could use them.”

• The outside was very nice.
• The room was very dirty, there were socks left from the previous stay. There were condom rappers left in the room. I found these things upon my arrival.

“The staff was very courteous, and quickly got me another room. But it wasn't a whole lot better.”

“Peek hole was missing eye glass. It was just a hole. Closet door mirror broken. Burn hole in blankets. Comforter had ink stain. Staff was friendly.”

• I like the friendly staff, they always checked on me after I checked in!
• Not too confident of the disinfectant nature of the bathroom, kitchen.

• Large spacious room, great fold out couch into bed.
• Noisy traffic noise, late check-in time (no arrangements).

“We tried to check in early (I emailed and requested an early one), but was unable to. Speedy check in, however, at midnight when we returned from downtown. No phone service from room but spacious area, nice kitchen, dated bathroom. My son enjoyed the pull out sofa bed. We would have liked a broader channel selection (no m TV, vh1 or fuse, we went to see a concert downtown).”

• Location and quietness.
• Room smelled like smoke and it was supposed to be non-smoking.

“The hotel was fair. I needed a place to go for rest away from a busy home of eight children. I am pregnant with my ninth, so the smoke odor was bothersome. The shower had mildew in it, but was otherwise clean. I was able to get a fair amount of rest and the young lady at the desk was very polite and helpful.”
