• Inside room next to pool. Great for grandchildren!
• Too few parking spaces near door.

“We've stayed at this hotel before under different management. No drop in quality, although fewer potted plants in pool area.”

• Room was inexpensive, clean, and close to MSU.
• Outside was shabby and scary.

• The room was clean, comfortable and served its purpose.
• View of the hotel and parking lot is not very attractive. Looks like a dump.

“I didn't like the looks of it from the outside, but the room was very nice. I didn't use the public facilities at the hotel because I was only there to sleep. It was inexpensive and very convenient. I would recommend this Howard Johnson.”

• Booked a pool-side room. Got a room that was outside access only instead.

“Good location. Staff was not very professional or friendly. Room and hotel cleanliness was Ok but the roof was leaking in several spots in the lounge area. Did not use pool even though that was one reason we booked this hotel since it was not convenient for us to get to the pool from our room-i.e.. without proper foot wear as we had to go outside first.”

• The pool facility was excellent.
• Limited continental breakfast.

“I was nervous to book a hotel on-line. I needed a cheap rate since we would only be in our room to sleep while attending cheer leading camp. The pool was a life saver after a hot day in the sun. The continental breakfast was a little limited. Our room seemed to lack floor space to put any luggage, it was very narrow. We needed a delay in check-out and they were very accommodating.”

• Terrific location and excellent staff.
• Breakfast buffet needs more choices.

“Overall, a very good experience. The rooms were of good size and the public area (pool) was always clean and inviting.”
