• Room was comfortable. Amenities were available if needed.
• Was put in a non smoking room. Selection of food items limited with no restaurants nearby.

“Easily accessible to highway. Peaceful location. Room pleasant and roomy.”

• It had great handicap access.
• To high a price.

• Aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, warm and helpful staff.
• Some confusion-thought all rooms were suites; found out ours was not.

“The Suites met and exceeded my expectations of a hotel experience. I especially appreciated the staff, who went out of their way to be helpful. Pillow top bed was also a plus. Will definitely use them in the future.”

• I like the separation of space between the bedroom and other areas. The kitchen area was excellent.
• Was a bit difficult for the two semi-handicappers I was with.

“I thought the space I was in was great for 2-3 people. The kitchen area was very handy with all the dishes, silverware and pots & pans. The full-sized refrigerator was great compared to the mini-fridges I'm used to seeing. Had everything I wanted except a spa tub.”

• The staff was very professional, effective & friendly.
• No lobby restroom - had to use stairs.

“Candlewood suites east Lansing this is an excellent place for a quick stop or a long stay; the added benefits at this site are the attractions of Michigan state university; the staff is fantastic - very professional - very organized - prepared - proactive - accommodating! Bravo to the staff & management! Thank you for making my stay a joy.”

• Free movies, convenient and inexpensive honor system snacks.
• I was expecting 2 double beds or 1 double and pull out sofa - only had 1 double.

“Overall, a really pleasant environment. It was very clean! I would definitely stay longer - especially with the kitchenette.”
