• Decor was beautiful.
• No pool.

“Hotel was lovely and convenient for what we needed. Bed was very comfortable had a great nights sleep. We had our 4 yr old grandson and he would have enjoyed a pool that's the only bad thing I can say.”

• It seemed away from everything and a shuttle to downtown would have enhanced our experience.

• The gym at the University is awesome.
• Parking is 15 dollars a day.

“Tucked neatly on the medical campus of the University of Cincinnati, this place is a gem. I was able to walk to a great campus, and several Cincinnati specific restaurants. The staff was genuinely friendly, and the room was very comfortable.”

• The flat screen TV was great. I loved the look of the room.
• Parking was very expensive and location for out of town people is confusing.

“If attending an event at the University of Cincinnati, Kingsgate is by far the most comfortable hotel in the surrounding area.”

• Location, Cleanliness.
• No pool. Reek-room unavailable due to remodeling.

“When the people came to check into the second room, they were told that the credit card (not theirs for extras, but the original credit card) had a problem. It took them nearly an hour to clear it up, and they never told us what the problem was. Both rooms had been charged on the same card, and, as I said, City had already processed the charges. It was very irritating.”

• Great beds, very clean.
• Restaurant closed early, had to go out for food, no free parking, no pool.

“Very clean, nice staff, great beds, convenient to the university, good value compared to Downtown hotels 10 minutes away. Would like a pool and hot tub after a long drive from Chicago to Cincinnati.”

• I love the buffet, the staff, and the location.
• No coke products.

“I liked the parking being convenient (though paying without an attendant was very confusing on Sunday). I loved the food, the service, and the accommodations.”

• I don't like to pay for parking!

“We called and asked for a particular (corner, large) room with a roll away. It was ready when we arrived. The second night we asked for an additional roll away and it was delivered without any problem. Kings gate Marriott was great!”

• Modern, clean, convenient.
• Desk staffs on the phone and in person were not up to standard.

“This hotel is tucked in the middle of the university of Cincinnati campus. It is modern, clean, and has all of the facilities needed for a business traveler. Lack of snack vending machines and swimming pool presented challenges while traveling with children. Snacks were available at the front desk (for purchase). Excellent for business travel. Parking garage with access to the hotel is safe and convenient.”

• Quiet room.
• Scary neighborhood. Poor signage in a dark, not secure parking garage.

“Please do not send single women to this location. Neighborhood is very unsafe. Hotel is nice, but no wireless in the sleeping room nor was anyone around for me to buy a cup of coffee from. I ended up going back to my room and ordering from room service which took over 50 minutes. Very disappointed in this hotel.”
