“Overall a very good experience at the Westin. Very nice accommodations, but the pool area needs to be updated. The rest of the hotel looks so luxurious, but this area was very disappointing. The parking structure also had a very strange odor to it, but overall a very nice stay.”

“This is a great hotel and in a great location. Lots of wonderful restaurants nearby and right by the river. The room was comfortable. Beds great, bathroom shower also nice. We enjoyed the pool as well.”

“Hotel is in great shape. Security is excellent as room keys are required to access all guest floors. Valet was very efficient. Children receive nice packages at check-in with rubber duckies, outlet covers, Band-Aids, flashlights. these were a big hit. The online description does not list a pool, but there actually is a nice pool area. We had to run out to buy suits because we were unaware that this would be available.”

“The PARKING WAS HORRIBLE! I was never told that it was $24.00 a day to park my car. Unless I wanted to park under the hotel, which I almost wrecked my car. There was no space to fit my car down the tunnel. And if you didn't valet your car the bellmen weren't very nice. Also I had security called on my room for being nosey when there was no noise. I have to wake up to answer the door to be told to keep it down. I was sleeping. Another down fall was the food. It was $15.00 for a turkey sandwich that is ridiculous.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Westin in Downtown Cincinatti. At check-in, we requested a room with a view since we were traveling with a 9 month old baby and she goes to sleep at 7:30 p.m.; meaning we would be in the room all night. Immediately, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Fountain-view room at no charge. The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked to dinner without having to go outside at all, again, great since it was 27 degrees that night! At check-out, the receptionist asked how we liked our stay and DH commented on the cleanliness of the room, which he thought was sub-par for a 4 star hotel. Immediately, the receptionist apologized and offered to comp our room-service breakfast we had had that morning. I am sure if we had called to complain about the room (some mold in the bathroom and a few sharp objects and pills found on the carpet when I baby-safe the room before we settled in), they would have immediately fixed the problems. Overall, I would definitely stay at the Westin again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Goes to show you, customer service is still KEY in repeat customers!”

“Excellent service, parking is adequate, but certainly not inexpensive. Area restaurants are excellent as well. The negatives are the presence of people, (maybe homeless? Or not) around the streets, and even allowed into the lobby area of the hotel. One was fairly aggressive, and startled us as he rushed up to beg for honey.”

“The hotel was wonderful, great location, great restaurant, great bed, great bathroom. The heater doesn't have a thermostat so it hoes from scorching to freezing and back again when cold outside. We could also hear people in the rooms on either side of hours a few times, but not at night luckily.”
