“I think the hotel has potential, but it needs work. The room was tiny. The cleaning staff woke me up. The front desk staff and valet was great.”

“The hotel has complimentary parking and valet. I was not made aware of this until after my stay. I was very pleased though at the customer service from the hotel staff.”

“This hotel is a beautiful. The lobby, bar and restaurant areas are gorgeous, with wood paneling, painted ceilings, you just have to see it to believe it! The rooms have been recently remodeled, they are small, but the hotel is old! Everything is very clean and very well appointed. We have stayed here many times and look forward to returning.”

“Everything was upscale.”

“Because the hotel is downtown, there is no where to park except the garage ($15) or valet ($22). The hotel is a very beautiful, historic building. We had problems with our room. When I tried to take a shower, the water coming from the faucet was brown. The first staff member I spoke with was short and rude but everyone else was nice and accommodating. We were given another room in which to shower and were compensated with free Sunday brunch ($60 value for both of us). Food was great but we would have never paid $30 each for the buffet. Overall, it was a good experience. I would rate the hotel/staff/location 3.5 out of 5 stars.”

“The hotel was clean and in a good location however the rooms were tiny! You could not move around the bed! The bathroom was very basic. Main lobby area was nice, it was just a shame that the rooms were not of the same level. Not the normal standard of a 4* only a 3*.”

“One of the classiest nicest historic first class hotels you would ever want to stay in. This is from an age when class was evident at every turn in the building. Really stunning! Makes it hard to go back to a brand new Hilton, seems so much more impersonal as far as the building is concerned!”

“This room had the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept on in a hotel.”

“Overall, was very pleased. I do not see the need to charge $20 for parking, though. Was also very disappointed in the food. It is a downtown hotel, but the breakfast buffet was not any nicer than what you would find in an express hotel, but cost $12 a person. For the price of the room, a continental breakfast should be complimentary.”

“Location was great. Price was ok, but watch out nothing in the room comes free. On top of the price of the room it was $3.50 for a small water!”

“Parking was too expensive and the pool closed too early. The room was kind of small and they wouldn't even include a refrigerator and internet without charging. 4 star hotels charge for everything, I'll stick to 3 stars, they give you everything you need without all the extra charges.”

“The room was so small being 6'1" there was almost not enough room for me on the floor at the end of the double size bed.”

“The hotel was very clean and had a nice fitness room, pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna which was very nice.”

“Love the hotel. Very nice and comfy. Although terrible experience with the rude bartender. I purchased 2 drinks on our way up to the room upon check-in and when I left him a 75 cent tip. He said "Well. I expected more than that". We didn't even sit down. All I done was ordered 2 drinks to go. Very rude! Also, he's lucky he got that. The room service people were nice. Even though the restaurant had closed they brought us a goody bag.”

“For a big hotel, it's lovely. But I don't like 29 storey hotels. I find them impersonal and, with all the tipping one has to do, expensive. I won't choose a 4 star again.”

“The four stars of this hotel were all in the lobby. The closet was bigger than the bathroom. The pool was disgusting and housed in the basement. While it is a historical building and very beautiful for events, I would not recommend staying there for fun.”

“Hotel was ok except for very small size of room and bathroom. There was nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom and the towels were stored in the shower!” Amenities at Omni Netherland Plaza, Cincinnati
