  • Nice quiet rooms with large comfortable king bed and plenty of room.
  • No continental breakfast provided.

“The room was just that roomy, not cramped at all and well arranged. The rooms were quiet and I didn't hear neighbors or much hall noise. The room was comfortable and had a fine view and the hotel was very pleasant and clean. The hotel is very convenient right off the freeway and close to major shopping and dining. Some items were updated in the last few years while others needed updating but were not at all in bad shape.”

  • I had a roof over my head.
  • Foul odors, cigarette burn holes in bedspread, dirty, bad location, slow dining service.

“I was very disappointed with my stay here. Beds were sunken in, faucets were leaky, there were horrible odors of sewage and marijuana in the halls. Seating in the main lobby were also old and sunken and there were no tables for placing drinks, materials on. The location was bad with limited restaurants in the area, service in the dining room was slow. The same people we saw vacuuming hallways were the ones serving us food in the dining room. While I was in a non-smoking room, the room smelled of smoke and had many cigarette burns in the old, frayed, bedspread. There was zero artwork on the walls and the furniture was broken--drawers did not completely closed and there was a thick layer of dust on the dresser indicating poor cleaning techniques. Water in the bathroom was slow to heat up and the bathroom fixtures are in need of updating. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've ever had.”

  • The location of the hotel was very convenient, right off the highway and surrounded by restaurants and grocery stores.
  • The hotel itself is very outdated and a little run down. My non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes.

“What this hotel lacks in style and cleanliness, it makes up for with its convenient location. My stay was not unpleasant, but I wouldn't say I'm eager to return either. The room was a nice size, with the exception of the bathroom which was so small that the door opened into the shower, just missing the toilet along the way. The room did have a mini fridge which was nice, but no microwave.”

  • The front desk was very helpful.
  • 1970's furnishings. Very outdated, common areas dirty.

“While the front desk was great, the hotel does not deserve to be considered as 3 stars. It appears to be one of the chains hotels that need to be sold off or razed and rebuilt. The maids had done all they could to clean the room, but the age, the furnishings, and overall condition made the room depressing. Would not stay there again.”

  • The people at check in were great.

“The night desk person greeted me with hey Boss "What do you need"? This is after I called for a pillow 2 times and they told me it would be right there. 2nd day my room was not made up, when I returned I called the desk and they were sorry, assured me it would be cleaned in the morning. Sorry to say but my room was not touched the 3rd day, I returned back to my room at 10:30 pm and called the front desk for clean towels and waited 45 minutes and called the desk and cancelled the order for towels.”

  • The restaurant was great, there were vending machines and fluffy pillows. The cable and free internet were perfect.
  • The bathroom was dark, old and its supplies were modest. The wake-up call system did not work.

“The price was fair. The room was spacious. The room itself was just a bit old: the heating system, carpet and bathroom had that old, damp, dark aspect to it. The bed was nice, the cable & free internet perfect. The staff was friendly and straight-forward. The restaurant food was great.”

  • It was inexpensive.
  • It was not a three star hotel, was low class at best.

“We had no hot water in our room, the furniture was cheap, and kids were running all around the lobby. I would probably not stay here again even if it were free.”

  • Old, not well maintained. Shabby carpets, torn wall paper, etc.

“Hotel is passed its prime, and hasn't been well maintained. At one time was probably a 3-star, but with lack of maintenance, calling it a 2 1/2 is be gracious.”

  • The box spring, curtains and the lamp shade all had brown stains.

“This hotel should be rated at 1 star. It needs some series updating. The box spring, curtains and the lamp shade all had brown stains. The dresser and all of the furniture was outdated. They switched my room and the new room that was supposedly remodeled had brown stains on the bed as well. I would not recommend this hotel or ever stay there again.”

  • There was room service.
  • My lunch order was written on of paper with customer credit cards numbers, addresses and names and given to me.

“Security of credit card information was poor and hotel looked rundown and dirty. My lunch order was written on an old reservation list used for scratch paper. this paper listed several customers home address, names and credit card numbers with expiration dates.”

  • Staff was very friendly and helpful.
  • There was plenty of parking but it wasn't convenient. And the layout of the hotel was a little odd, only one set of elevators which made for a long.

  • Convenient location. Close to shopping and dining options.
  • Carpet in hallways was dirty. Room needed better lighting. Restaurant breakfast service was very slow.

“I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Rooms were older, but fairly clean. Hotel staff was helpful, friendly. Ask for a room not facing the road if you are a light sleeper, since it is located next to expressway. Security officer was present in hallways at night-bonus. Overall, satisfied with the stay.”

  • Place was really shaggy. Very much in need of an overhaul.

“This hotel reflects Lansing current state. Run down. It very much needs to be overhauled or demolished. People were friendly and hardworking but the hotel was beat up. Grass needs mowing, lot needs paving, rooms need make-over. It has the amenities, but badly needs renovating.”

  • Gross. A wouldn't check my dog in here.

“From the duct taped carpet to the moldy shower stall, this hotel was scary. Dreary forest green decor. Dark plastic lamps. Gross with a capital g. The wall next to the bed was stained. I dare not guess what that was. I caught a really bad cold after staying here, too. Better suited for barn animals.”
