• It had a bed to sleep on.
• Everything.

“Walking in to check-in, we were not even greeted. The halls stunk, the carpet had black stains on it, and our room stunk. It smelled like it had been flooded and air fresheners were trying to cover the musty odors. There was a bug on the wall in the bedroom part, hair in the tub, and my husbands sheets had a stain on it. It took both of us about 5-10 minutes to figure out how to use the shower. The showerhead was crusted with filth. The floors and toilet (when seated) creaked. Keep in mind we were on the first floor even. The pool was dirty. The sauna didn't work. The continental breakfast was worthless. It was a horrible stay and would not recommend it to anyone.”

“The hotel was very poor quality. We were one of the few rooms with room keys instead of a card. Our door creaked every time you opened or closed it. The carpet in the halls and room was dirty. There were 3 bugs in the stairwell, and they were there all 3 days that we were at the motel. The pool water was cloudy and you could not see to the bottom. The breakfast did not have enough selection. When we arrived, we were excited about the view of the bridge, but when we got into our room we looked out the window and we were facing the back of town and we saw a cherry picker! Our bathroom had a light fixture at the top, one light bulb was burnt out and the other was too small. There was no cover over the fixture. I will never stay at this motel again.”

• Beautiful view from balcony.
• You will pay for the view.

“Kind of pressured into getting 3rd night. We were told rooms might not be available which was a lie. If you need internet for your work, you might as well forget about getting a signal on the 3rd or 2nd floor. We were offered a 2 room suite which was absolutely filthy. I will admit, at least the manager tried, but even though there may be problems and rooms were no where near capacity, they will not let you check out without charging you the price for the room! 3rd night the power went out, emergency lighting was a joke! Only one light lit on the 3rd floor and the far stairwell had no light at all off the 3rd floor. This IS being reported to the Fire Marshall. Staff member at night had a cell phone glued to her ear most of the night. Will not and do not suggest this hotel to anyone, even though owners own several more in the area, even the locals tell you to stay away from any of the hotels owned by Leigho Investments.”

• Good location within walking distance.
• Small breakfast room.

“Good accommodations for the price. Excellent location amid the vacation scene in Mackinaw City. Amenities were good for price and we would go there again.”

• Very nice location and friendly staff. Very nice continental breakfast.
• Needs locks on hall/entrance doors for night.

“The location was great and the view of the Mackinaw Bridge was neat. The continental breakfast was filling and had lots of selection.”
