• Bed was clean and comfortable.
• Found trash (I.e. -beer can behind the fridge).

“Nothing special, but no big issues either. Cleaning staff should check behind furniture and take more time on cleaning rooms. No continental breakfast was a disappointment.”

• The amenities were terrific.
• The bedspread smelled funny (unclean).

• The staff was wonderful and they had a small room that had free meals 24 hours a day.
• It didn't have a pool.

“The hotel has a good location and is easy to find. It is also easy to access the areas attractions from this location. The rooms are simple, but include a refrigerator and microwave. There is food available 24 hours a day. The hotel was clean, neat and had a good staff.”

• It offered everything I wanted at a reasonable price.
• The walls were a bit thin and we could hear people fairly easily.

“The room was comfortable, clean, and had a refrigerator and microwave. It was also convenient to locations where we spent the most time in Petoskey. All in all a good value.”

• Small rooms, only one stairway.

“Rooms are definitely smaller than expected. I paid 4 months in advance for a nicer room and ended up in the second building (not the one with the cafe attached), on the side opposite the bay view, upstairs at the end of the building. I wouldn't have minded except that they only have stairs in the middle of the buildings so you have a really long haul from the stairway to the room. They tell you that you can park right below your room so that you can see your car but that would add another 75 feet to your walk so why would you? Too many other nicer hotels nearby, I won't be back.”

• Location was great, it was very affordable, and the 24 hour cafe was a nice bonus.
• Needs updating, bathroom could be cleaner.

“My wife and I decided to go to Petoskey for a weekend getaway/salmon fishing trip. We really liked the proximity of everything to the Days Inn. The Casino and Wal-Mart are just up the road and town is only a mile or 2 away. We were traveling with our dog. The Inn allows pets for an additional $10 a night and there was plenty of grassy area for our dog. We enjoyed the 24 hour Cafe. There are hot pockets, hot dogs, lots of snaky things like chips and cookies, and always about 5-6 pots of something warm going like chili, soups, goulash in the morning there is sausage gravy and biscuits, make your own waffles, fruits, juices and lots of other stuff. The room was worth the money and the staff is nice and friendly. If we're ever in the area we would definitely stay here again.”

• My wife and I are partial to a king-sized bed. We had a queen.

• The room was a bit small.

“This is our second visit to this hotel. They had some trouble with the wi-fi on our first two days. The 24 hour dining is fun, if a little lacking in quality.”

• The 24 hour free cafe was a pleasant surprise!

“We were very pleased with the friendly staff who helped changed the room to a Lake view. The free cafe was well stocked and provided two convenient meals for us. There was a wide variety and they even had ice cream. We would definitely stay there again when we are in that area!”

• The staff was extremely friendly! The 24 hour free cafe' was a much enjoyed surprise!
• No pool, but not a big deal at all!

“The rooms were nicely done, very comfortable. The winning staff was extremely nice to us! When we arrived we found out that our food for the entire stay was free, and there was a huge selection! I would love to stay there again anytime!”

• The hotel staff went out of their way for me to accommodate a room with enough beds.
• Nothing.

“The hotel was fine. I've stayed there before. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate the three of us because all of the two bed rooms were booked for two weddings. ”

• The breakfast buffet was OK.
• Too expensive. Old, not well maintained, did not feel clean.

“I left the hotel feeling ripped off. The rooms are very tiny and I did not feel clean in the beds. For the money we paid for the room we expected higher standards and better care of the place. Spend your money somewhere else!”

• The 24 hour free buffet was less than average, I would have to be EXTREMELY hunger to eat there.
