• Decorative pillows, soft comforter, large bathtub.
• Regular pillows too small; double bed room had no pullout chair/couch.

• Very friendly and beds were comfy!
• Sink fixtures were old, neighboring rooms were loud.

• The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean.
• It was an older building that could use renovated in public spaces.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were recently updated. The indoor pool was very warm and clean. We had an enjoyable time and would come back again.”

• Room was comfortable and the bed was great!
• No free wireless internet in the rooms. Most hotels offer this now.

“Overall, the hotel was nice. The rooms were good and bed was extremely comfortable. However, the lack of free internet in the room would keep me from staying there again.”

• Attractive courtyard view. Red River restaurant very good.
• Nothing bad. Had to drive a reasonable distance for Downtown event. Traffic heavy during rush hours.

“Better than expected. Room very nice, 1st floor and rear hotel entrance very close. We were able to choose our room perhaps due to the day of the week. The Red River restaurant was definitely better than average hotel offerings. Amenities offered in the room were very nice.”

• Exterior is very plain looking & somewhat foreboding.

• Pool, Jacuzzi, lobby, garden outdoor area.
• Room a little small, I like rooms that have a table to eat at or mini fridge or mini kitchen would have made it perfect.

“Nice hotel lobby, pool area and Jacuzzi would have been perfect if the rooms were like embassy suite style rooms. Location great. Nice gardens around rooms. Friendly staff.”

• It was updated and clean. The bedding was wonderful.
• The completely non-smoking feature was quite a pain in the middle of winter.

“The hotel was nice, clean and on a higher scale than some I have stayed in, but the staff wasn't nearly as accommodating and polite as they could have been. Also, later in the night, I found out that there was part of the deal I purchased that I didn't get, and no one could tell me why, nor could they give me the VIP card that was missing from my package.”

• Heated swimming pool for our kids ages 6 & 3 to play in.
• No refrigerator or microwave in the room.

“Excellent hotel overall with the exception of needing a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. Every other amenity was to our satisfaction and the pool was a refreshing break from our busy weekend we had planned.”

• The clean and the style of the rooms it was done beautiful.
• We liked all of it, I couldn't fine anything it lacked.

“Excellent room very clean tastefully decorated. The lobby was gorgeous. All the personnel were very courteous and friendly. Our room was quiet with no noise in the hallway. It was just what we needed.”

• Drafty windows. But it was below zero.

• The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was very clean with comfortable beds.
• The only option for a suite was one with only one bed. Two bed suites would be great for families.

“We truly enjoyed the hotel. Staff was excellent, our room was immaculate and we enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. We did not eat in the restaurant, but we did order room service and the food was very good.”

• The room was nice and warm when we walked in.
• The bathroom was tiny and the beds weren't meant for two adults.

“Right off the freeway and easy access to anywhere you want to go. Not much traffic. Clean hotel and great staff, the pool is meant for adults and children! The hotel staff answered our questions very quickly and they had these cards that give you great directions to where ever you need to go. We will be back next year.”

• Poor selection of TV stations, no vending machines.

• Since I, flower designer I noticed the outdoor planters which were very tasteful/.
• I would have liked a free continental breakfast.

“My daughter will be attending college in the area next year and I would definitely stay there on my next visit. A real steal at the price I paid.”

• The doors were not closeable without slamming them shut.

“This hotel was a decent hotel for the price we paid. It is an older hotel that has been recently updated. The bathroom was a bit awkward due to the location of the door. It had to be closed when taking a shower which caused the room to steam up quite a lot.”
