“It was hard to correctly rate it because there was a large family reunion going on there and they were taxed by them.”

“Back door did not lock, toilet seat cover was off and piece of plastic was over it not fitting, carpet ripped, mattress extremely hard and uncomfortable, lights went out in bathroom while I was taking a shower on morning of check out, towels very hard. Overall hotel was not clean it reminded me of a cheap old no Name hotel not with a major chain reputation. Very dissatisfied.”

“Their disregard to a medical emergency in my family, which required me to travel out of state during the time of the scheduled hotel stay in Chattanooga, is completely unacceptable. I went on the web-site to find any warning or disclaimers as mentioned above and I was able to find the disclaimer but it was not easy - besides, if I had noticed the disclaimer during setting the reservation I would not have set it, period. Hotels understand emergencies and have cancellation policies in place for such issues. If you are not going to treat customers with this common curtsy, you need to post the disclaimer on the web-site where it can be easily noticed - or are you scamming the public with this. I will be sending some letters and e-mails to several business review boards to see what can be done. Now, my father is post-surgery and doing great and the only thing that bothers him is the fact I lost money on the reservation. You can't treat consumers in this manner and expect anything less.”

“We were traveling in a group of six people - one 78 years old. He became ill and we stopped several hours drive short of our reserved hotel rooms (3 rooms) for him - somewhat late in the night. We had no way of calling ahead due to his sudden problem. We were forced to stay the night elsewhere and did not get to our intended destination until the following day. Could I get any kind of refund?”

“Some how my reservation was booked for Aug 23 instead of Aug 3. When I go in, the guy and girl at the front desk then tell me they have no doubles available. I walk back in to the hotel and give them the new reservation number and they give me keys to a double room. What is that? I think it was a black thing personally! The bathroom in the room had coffee stains on the walls. The floor in the bathroom needed mopping. And on top of everything else, I cannot get my money back for the room booked for August 23rd. ”

“Our room was clean and beds had real fitted sheets - mattresses were in good shape. Staff were very courteous; no noisy neighbors.”

“The first room they put me smelled strongly of mildew, the next was stale smelling but not as bad as the first. The pool had a lot of leaves in it, and paint chips about as big around as an apple peeling up. Their computer could not connect to the Internet. The TV remote control's channel up and #3 button didn't work. It will do for a roof over your head, but that's about it. The staff was friendly, but they will sooner or later get tired of people complaining about all of the above.”
