“This is a great place to stay. Very nice bed, I got a great nights sleep and quite location. The breakfast and service in the restaurant was great and a very good way to start the day.”

“This hotel was among many on the same block. It was older and may have been purchased and updated. Main drawback was no elevator. The layout was a large circle. My room was very far from the lobby stairs. Closest parking would have me at the back of the hotel and right near a dumpster. Other Marriotts I've stayed at, had continental breakfast, but there was pay only dining.”

“This hotel was extremely clean and the staff was great. We got a free breakfast because we are Marriott Rewards members and we could upgrade to a full buffet for $3 more. We even got a cute poem and Hershey Kisses on our check out day.”

“Very clean, pleasant staff. Close to everything. Indoor pool is very small. Beds aren’t the typical Marriott standards; soft and cozy but they were comfortable enough.”

“The door into the hallway did nothing to stop noise. Had to complain about very noisy neighbors well past midnight. Slamming doors, running in hall. Problem finally corrected around 1:00 AM by staff.”

“Lobby, pool, dining area, and other public areas were well maintained, clean, and very inviting. However, our room with 2 double beds was quite cramped. Not much space in the room, but otherwise no complaints.”

“My husband went to checkout and was told his credit card had been declined. This was puzzling to him, but he opted to just pay his incidentals in cash. So he paid and change and left. He later contacted me to find out why our corporate card had been declined. I called the bank and was informed that the hotel had processed a charge for $3 a few days ago, and today put through a charge. I knew there was no way we owed the hotel, so I called the hotel and the phone was answered by the young lady my husband had dealt with this morning. I asked her what had happened, and she spoke in very broad general terms, stating it was just a miscommunication and the manager had been working all morning getting it straightened out. I asked her specifically what had been done and she would only say it had been taken care of. So I then ask to speak to the manager, I admit I was quite frustrated by the lack of information forthcoming from the young lady and did voice my frustration, and then was subjected to desk persons reprimand, lecturing me on how I should be behaving on our call, and if I didn't toe the line then he was not going to help me. Well he then asks me which credit card of the three we had used there I was referring to, which was strange, because the only one he used was our corporate card, then he wanted the three digit security code off the back of the card. Why? I still don't know, I really could not get any clear information or assistance out of him. I asked for his supervisor and he replied that he has ultimate authority and he did not have a supervisor and I was going to have to deal with him. I did not appreciate his condescending tone at all. I finally hung up out of frustration and called Marriott/Courtyard helpline. The young lady was responsive and very helpful, she was able to compel desk person to call my bank and remove the charge. I have seen hotels put a hold on cards for a given amount to cover incidental.”
