• Location was excellent. Easy to get to UTC.

“There is a 24 hour diner-cafe attached. This was unimportant because there are few downtown places to get food at odd hours.”

• Convenient, easy walking distance to Downtown, convention center, and river.
• Poorly marked, had a small hotel sign.

“A great location, just a few blocks from river locations. Convention center across the street and right into Downtown CHATTANOOGA. Easy access to main streets to see the city and LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN.”

• Very friendly and helpful!
• There needs to be refrigerators in the rooms! My daughter has diabetes and we had to use a cooler to keep meds cold!

“This hotel is great for family travelers. The public transportation was awesome. Took us where we wanted to go, very friendly! The out door pool was very clean and the kids loved it! The staff was the best, very helpful and friendly. I will stay here again!”

• I enjoyed the view of downtown outside my window. I also enjoyed the City Cafe Diner very much.
• The hotels appearance from the outside was very trashy.

“We had a very nice stay here. There were a couple of things we did not like seeing. For example there were people digging through the dumpsters looking for things to sell and there were also people begging for money right outside the restaurant doors. Other than those thing the staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable.”

• Close to Sheraton Reid house where conference was held.
• A bit of a cigarette smoked smell at first.

“Third year in a row we used it to attend a Sherlock Ian conference across the street. We did have to wait until 3:30 to get into our room, but still had to check out at 11 am, but it worked out ok. Nice restaurant and bar attached but separate from Days Inn (I think).”

• Great location for visiting Downtown Chattanooga.

“For visiting Downtown Chattanooga, which has a lot to offer, this is a great location. The rooms are clean and tasteful. The little restaurant is nothing fancy, but the food was good and it's nice to have the convenience of a restaurant on site. Good experience.”

• Great location. Clean and cheap.
• You could smell the dumpster on the way to our room.

“If you want a cheap no frill place to stay in Chattanooga. This is a great place. Easy walk to anywhere downtown.”

• The attached diner.
• Bed was worn out, door hard to shut. We had to get towels and soap at desk.

“This is an old motel that was crammed between the highway exit and the city street. But no noise from the highway. Rooms are basic and clean. Pool is clean and refreshing. Staff is professional and accommodating. There is a very good dinner attached to the motel, good atmosphere, good food, and good prices.”

• The 24-hour diner offered delivery service and excellent food.
• The bathroom was filthy and the room was infested with gnats.

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room had obviously only been marginally cleaned, and the bathroom was atrocious. The bathtub needed a good scrubbing, and I found a variety of hairs in it (none of which belonged to me or my mother). Our entire stay was spent swatting at the endless number of gnats that infested our room. We did not asked to be moved because we were on the ground floor, and I was on crutches from a recent injury. This was another reason the bathtub situation was so inconvenient. When we checked out, I informed the desk staff (two very young girls) of the problems with the room, and they responded simply with, "Thanks for letting us know." I will be writing a letter to the manager of the hotel.”
