• Location convenient for Auburn football. Close to campus.
• No hot water, dead roach in room, Price Gouging $168 night for football games; less than $70 any other time.

“My wife and another couple stayed at the Auburn Econo Lodge on September 30, 2005 for the South Carolina/Auburn football game. We normally stay at better chains (HI Express, Hilton brands) but a "friend" booked this for us. Rooms and lobby appeared very old and worn; both in bad need of renovation. I took 2 showers, one scalding hot, the other ice COLD. We complained about no hot water and they fixed it just before we checked out. They give vouchers for free breakfast at the Waffle House next door, but Waffle House food was greasy, cold as usual. I definitely do not recommend anyone stay here unless an old, run-down, redneck, expensive Roach Motel is what you're looking for. ”
