• The bathroom was very nice.
• The hotel staff was not friendly.

“The hotel was recently renovated and the bathroom was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The staff was unfriendly.”

• After first day, no yogurt, fruit, bagels.

“After our first day there was only a very minimal offering for breakfast. Beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Cleaning staff and night manager were very nice. Pool was nice.”

• Convenient to interstate.
• Old, desperately in need of repair/maintenance. Room smelled musty.

“First, our room was on the backside of the hotel (ground level). Little lighting and strange people hanging around out back. No sense of security.”

• A bit runs down and noisy.

“Good location but rooms were not in the best of shape. The beds were hard and a bit uncomfortable. A lot of noise at all hours. Probably won't stay here again.”

• It was right off the interstate.
• We paid too much.

• Great place, please go and try.
• Older building, but not noticeable.

“This place is newly renovated which I notice. I would recommend this place to anybody. I thought this hotel is not bad at all. For how old it is, it is very nice and friendly people.”

• Check in & check out was quick.
• Room smelled a little funny.

“Unremarkable but otherwise clean & functional and a good buy for the money. Hotel in general was sparsely occupied probably because there are newer, nicer hotels in the same area. It was remarkably quiet for a New Year's Eve night.”

• Easy location and good price.
• Room not cleaned except first night.

“In general the room was very nice. I liked having a refrigerator and microwave. The TV didn't always work but I wasn't in the room that much. Staff I dealt with was very friendly.”

• The updates in the bathrooms and breakfast area are very nice.
• The cleanliness of the linens was a big disappointment.

“The hotel is in a convenient location. The bathroom was newly renovated with a new tub and granite wall. The bed linens on one of the queen beds had hairs, crumbs and even a potato chip was found when the covers were turned down. When I told the desk clerk at checkout of the condition of the linens, his response was, "we change the linens after each stay". Obviously these were not changed, but he offered no apology to me. I did sleep in the other bed instead of changing rooms at a late hour. I was disappointed with my stay as compared with the star rating on the site.”

• The great tasting, easy waffles and the morning coffee.
• Dingy bathing/dressing area; burn holes in spreads; torn carpet with duct tape repair.

“It was an adequate place to sleep & conveniently located. I had asked the staff about a possible delay in check out time because we were attending a funeral and I would have liked to return to change after that (funeral at 10:00 a.m.) and was told that I had to vacate by 11:00 which was no help at all.”

• Old building under spruce up, very cramped.

“This is an old building that is getting cosmetic makeover. Rooms are small and dark, not specifically dirty but I wouldn't want to stay more than overnight.”

• Nothing checked out after seeing the dirty room.
• Pubic hairs on the bedding, dirty floor, bad air conditioner.

“Rooms where very miss leading from description given. Managed very poorly. The room was so dirty I refused to see and more of the hotel. Looked like a sweeper was ran down the main path and that was it. Human hair on floor and bedding. Dead bugs around the bed and edge of room. Eight hour on the road, would rather sleep in car.”

• Seats cushion worn out. Linens not crisp. Lack breakfast variety.
