• Filthy, no working ice machines, pool closed (it looked filthy too).

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The manager wasn't friendly, the pool was closed (and looked filthy), no working ice machines, and the whole place just smelled. We checked in, and three hours later, checked out. We couldn't even bare the thought of sleeping there. My kids thought it was "creepy". Not a good experience at all.”

• Scary, dirty and noisy.

“When I arrived there were 6 cop cars outside with cops putting on bullet proof vests and carrying huge guns. The hotel was under construction and the carpet layers worked well into the evening hours (7:30pm)making so much noise that I couldn't hear my TV (which was malfunctioning) and littering the hallway with a maze of fixtures, furniture, garbage (which never got cleaned up) and carpet. My room had gross brown drips running all down the walls and my towels were a dingy brownish yellow. When I went to the front desk about the noise I was told "Oh well, we don't know how late they're going to be working". I was not the only guest that had complained but the staff just didn't seem to care.”

• The Staff was very helpful.
• The pool was closed for painting and we were not told until we got there.

“My son and I came to the area for a college tour. This hotel served it purpose for us as a place to sleep. It's not the cleanest place we've stayed and the breakfast leaves a little to be desired, go to Denny's. The pool should be nice, when it's done being painted. The staff was very helpful with directions to the college.”

• We questioned whether or not the room had been cleaned, or just remade.

“We found crumbs on top of bedspread. There were open soaps, and shampoos in bath tub. There was old coffee in coffee pot, and mold in coffee grounds container on top. We were not sure that bed had been changed, or just remade. There was no "Travelers Information" in room. Nothing about how to operate TV, no area dining info, etc. Continental breakfast area was poor. Toaster was dirty, rusty, and plastic side melted. Milk pitcher was broken, and crusty milk on lid. Hotel staff was nice, and did what they could to help. Told us to contact you for a full refund. They said this would come from you, and you would work back through the hotel for your reimbursement. Also the bath sink was very slow to drain. ”
