• I liked the refrigerators in the rooms. The cookies in the lobby were very nice.
• They need to update the interior design (carpets, drapes, chairs, bedspread kind of clashed).

• It had plenty of varied vending machines.
• The toilet was too small and there was no TV guide.

• Quite location and once found easy access.
• Difficult to find. Problem was Interstate 94 construction.

• The location was convenient and right off the expressway.
• The customer service and staff was not friendly in the least bit.

“The staff was extremely unfriendly here and the manager actually barged into our room shortly after we arrived for no apparent reason- he didn't even knock- after that we were scared to leave our belongings there unattended. I would not recommend this hotel to others.”

• Smoky room. It was like sleeping in an ashtray.

• Had to pay extra for no smoking rooms.

“This hotel met my expectations for a 2 star hotel except that the manager was rude and did not speak good English. He made me pay extra for 2 beds and no smoking rooms.”

• More friendly staff.
• First day, registering in the hotel, one incompetent staff started to argue and tried to charge me extra money just for changing the room.

“This hotel needs to be more selective when hiring staff. Some of the staff was very nice, others that work in the front desk were not, and just on day one while registering, had an argument with one of them she was trying to charge me extra for asking for a double bed room instead of a suit with a king size bed. Crazy.”

“This is a basic check in for the night to sleep hotel. No frills, but does the job nicely for the niche that it is filling. For my job, this is an ideal hotel and I plan on staying again when I am in the area on business.”

• Easy to find.
• Up charge for non-smoking, 2 queen beds. Filthy rooms.

“Staff was uncooperative. The room was filthy, raisins scattered on the floor, rolled up pajama bottom on floor, cockroach (or something similar) I found alive in bathroom. I will never stay here again.”

“I usually stay at Marriott and such so the bedding although clean was not up to the standard that I am used to. Mostly cheesy decorations. Although for Kalamazoo area it was probably top notch. If asked I would recommend it for the area.”
