• The view.
• The high priced bar.

“Once again, Priceline hit a home run. It was late afternoon and we decided to get a hotel room and stay in the city. I found a computer to use and placed my bid for that day. I was pleased to see that my price had been accepted. However, I was not familiar with the name Galt House. I thought to myself, "How am I going to explain this to my wife." So I did not. I just programed the address into the GPS and to my surprise, came upon a very impressive tower of luxury. This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. Great job Priceline (again).”

• Good location and nice pillows.
• The bathroom was disgusting not very clean not a 3 star level hotel.

• Excellent location - walking distance to 4th Street Live.
• The hotel is tired and needs updating in the rooms.

“Excellent location - walking distance to 4th street live. Rooms are tired and need a facelift - I was in the Rivue tower. The fitness center is much improved from my last stay - the attendant actually worked and kept it clean.”

• Not a 3.5 star hotel.

“We stayed on the 3rd floor, asked for a higher floor (hotel was empty) - didn't get it. Our room was dark and dingy, no amenities you would find in a 3.5 star hotel. Good location, glad we didn't pay full price.”

• Great location, Rivue is a fantastic restaurant.
• Non-English speaking staff.

“We were pleased with the room we got. Location is great for getting around and sightseeing. Breakfast restaurant is not great, but Rivue is fantastic (rotating top floor restaurant).”

• The access to the river, and good restaurants.
• Can't think of anything.

“This hotel to me has class. the location is great for mom and pop restaurants, and some of the chain eateries. I've always like this park of Louisville, and Bardstown road with all it's stores and restaurant are nice too.”

• Great view of the river, and an excellent location.
• Our room looked over a music festival so it was very loud at night.

“Excellent location and price. Friendly and helpful staff. Few blocks from entertainment. Hotel appeared a little outdated but still clean and spacious.”

• Good downtown and
  central location.
• Old and tired decor, very slow elevators.

“The hotel is satisfactory in every way but failed to wow or impress me in any way. Very normal or average. My biggest complaint is the slow elevators. I waited for literally 10 minutes for an elevator to appear on the 10th floor on my way to check out.”

• Very disappointed with the cleanliness, garage safety.

“Very disappointed with everything about this hotel. I had to change rooms because of the condition of the lobby, elevators, and room condition (across the street tower). I use Priceline all the time and always more than satisfied.”

• Good location. Pretty view of the river possible.
• Room and lobby were dated in spite of the $60M renovation.

“Nice location. View of the river can be very good. Park next to the hotel has nice foutains. Close to Fourth Street Live. South? tower is dated with an abundance of fau dark oak that was popular a few decades ago.”

• Great location and beautiful hotel.
• Our window view was the air conditioner - Terrible.

“The Hotel is beautiful and has a fun pool. The layout of the hotel is a bit awkward and we had to wait nearly 10 minutes for an elevator. Needs more stairwells and Elevators. Our room was fine, but nothing special. Our view was non-existent as it looked out onto the roof hotel AC. I was also disappointed in the lack of in-room luxuries. I would just expect a bit more from the Gault. But, for a quick trip, it was fine, we were not in the room much anyway. And we paid a fair price for what we got. I'm sure there are many rooms that are much nicer than the one we had.”
