• Comfy bed, full kitchen, nice flat screen TV.

“Very nice, clean, spacious room, comfortable bed, full kitchen, so eating in and saving money is a plus. Overall this is a great hotel for a business traveler who is staying a few days. Highly recommended.”

• Rooms were great and very comfortable.
• Breakfast was not that great.

“Great location and price. The rooms were excellent and very comfortable. The only bad part was the breakfast. It consisted of a small bottle of water and a little oatmeal bar.”

• When we called for some extra bedding, it was brought to us in less than 5 minutes.

“This is a great place to stay if you need to be close to downtown Louisville. I loved having the kitchen facilities and the ample desk to work at. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I would definitely stay at this hotel when visiting Louisville again because it was super quality at an affordable cost. It is also located in a quiet neighborhood.”

• Restaurants within 2 blocks are very good.
• Very difficult to find.

“We had stayed at the same chain in Lafayette, Indiana and they were so friendly and served food. This hotel does nothing for you. I was supposed to get an itemized bill by e-mail (which I provided upon check in) and it is now several days and I have still not received it. When we asked for directions to the restaurants, we were not given correct directions and if we had walked, we would have been very cold.”

• Good location, clean in most parts, and friendly people.
• 1 room had no towels and 1 room had trash in can and dirty towel on back of bathroom door.

“It was a good hotel as most Marriott are. The staff was friendly, quick to respond to the problems.”

• The staff was so friendly and helpful could not ask for nicer people.
• Nothing this place is great.

“The rooms were super clean and the staff was nicer than any hotel Ive ever been to. And the showers were good as well. Its only about one minute from I-65 and less to US 31 and the price was great also. And the hotel was also in walking distance from some great restaurants. All in all a great place to stay.”

• I had no idea it would have two bedrooms. That was just right for my daughter and I.
• There was some one up stairs that walked really heavy. But that was not hotels fault.

“Excellent value for the money. Good safe location. A variety of restaurants within walking distance with a river view. Very comfortable furnishings. Well equipped kitchen with coffee makers, ice makers and dishwashers. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Parking that is well lit and convent. All around a very pleasant stay I will certainly stay there again if I pass through Louisville again.”

• It can't make 2.5 without a breakfast buffet

• It was clean, convenient and the staff was great!
• Nothing I did not like.

“This hotel was better than expected. The staff put up with us needing constant directions and printed them out quite a few times a day. The rooms were lovely. Everything was clean and it sat less than a block from the water with a great view of Louisville and the bridge. I was expecting downtown Louisville to be a few miles away and it was only 1 mile if that. Perfect view of the city! Will go back again. Very pleased.”

• It was located within walking distance to numerous eating places.
• Sofa bed did not have sheets.

“Did not like having sheets on/for the sofa bed. Why would one want a sofa bed if there were no sheets to use with it? It was located within walking distance to numerous eating places. Although, some other visitor had to show me this. (The motel personnel should alert visitors to this feature).”

• Their accommodations were like a mini-apartment with full-service appliances.
• There was not very much to displease me about Town place Suites.

“This being my first trip to Louisville, their location immediately over the bridge from Downtown made getting on and off the main highway a breeze. Their staff was very helpful in providing directions to local eateries and attractions in Louisville. They were even within 30-45 minutes driving distance to Churchill Downs.”

“I was placed in a handicapped room and it had no tub or shower stall. It had a shower head and drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. Mattress were very uncomfortable for person of my size.”
