• Very nice rooms. Clean, attractive, comfortable.
• Impossible to sleep. Loud inside and out.

“The hotel was fabulous. We loved the room as it was attractive, clean, and comfortable. It was a great time until about 10:30. When we turned of the TV, we were amazed at how loud the noise was from the street as well as inside the hotel. It's built like a well, so people can be heard from all floors. We were on the 12th floor and it still didn't help the noise from the partiers outside. We were up several times from people knocking on doors and yelling across the "well". When the bars closed at around 4:00 am, it was the worst. We were all awake. It's a shame because otherwise, this hotel was great.”

“The hotel was a good hotel. We normally stay in 3 star hotels and this was pretty standard for what we are used to. I didn't like the valet parking as you had to go inside and hand the guy the key but overall good stay and would recommend to others.”

• Clean, plenty of food choices, location and availability.
• Air conditioner, it stayed pretty warm in the room even though the thermostat was at 60.

“I really enjoyed my overall stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. There are plenty of food options to choose from and the room is very spacious.”

• The staff at check-in and check-out were fantastic.
• We found that our room had not been cleaned as well as it should have been.

“The Downtown Hyatt is a great facility in a great location. The restaurant was very good, but we only had the breakfast buffet. The Hyatt gave us our breakfast for free when we told the front desk that we discovered our room had not been adequately cleaned. The maid staff may need some improvement.”

• Great location. Friendly staff. Roomy rooms.
• Nothing negative.

“This hotel is rated 3 star, but could easily receive a 4-star rating! The staff is friendly. The rooms are roomy. Located right across the street from good shopping and restaurants. Walking distance from minor league baseball field, river fishing, museums. Pool/hot tub is nice. Although the pool was very chilly. This is one of the finest hotels our family has visited.”

• No steps in the pool, only ladders.

• Friendly staff.
• Noisy neighbors and price for breakfast was a bit high.

“The staff was more than friendly allowing me to check in 30 minutes before scheduled time. I did not have to wait in long lines to check out, I was able to complete this process on the phone. I enjoyed my stay.”

• The beds were very comfortable and it is close to 4th Street Live!
• One of the beds had something wet all down the middle.

“The hotel met all of our expectations, except for feeling something wet on one of the beds that we did not sleep in. The hotel was close to the entertainment.”

• The room has ambience!
• Had to pay for parking.

“Very convenient location Downtown near the clubs but very quiet in and around hotel. Lobby was wonderful with fresh flowers. When I walked into my room there was soft lightening and the room colors were coordinated and inviting! I thought that I could never leave this room. My view in the morning with the sun shining in my room and the view of old Downtown Louisville was breathtaking!”

• They for got my wake up call and I missed my flight.
• I did not like them not calling me in time for the flight and they did not have a shuttle.

“Nice hotel. For the quality of the hotel the star level hotel should have transportation.”

• Too many kids running the halls at 1:00 A.M in the morning.

• Too many add-ons for little things.

“At first appearance, the Hyatt is a lovely hotel with updated rooms and furnishings. One day of our stay, housekeeping failed to service our room. Two nights, the noise from the lobby kept us up until the wee hours of the morning. Some rooms got newspapers delivered; others had to pick them up from the un-manned concierge desk. There were signs for valet parking on arrival, but no valets apparent. Add-on charges for parking, internet, etc. were high and annoying. The breakfast buffet at $15/head was underwhelming. And again - service in the restaurant was spotty.”

• There was a conference and children were screaming all night long. Requested two double beds and got a king.

• You also had the impression they wanted to make your stay great.
• Only gripe if there were one, the in room coffee maker was too small.
