  • The atmosphere was fabulous. It made me want to relax.
  • I liked everything but the high cost valet parking.

  • Beautiful hotel, very elegant.

“The hotel was beautiful, however when we arrived we were told we were "upgraded" to a better room, the room was very small and only housed a FULL size bed, not even a Queen size bed. The bathroom was bigger than the sleeping quarters. I was very disappointed in the room size. It was the smallest room on that floor.”

  • A bit removed from the core business areas.

“I felt it was 1930. It was a vintage hotel with some fabulous appointments. The room was quite large with plenty of window space. The room was clean and comfortable. I would not rate the accommodations as luxury, but a nice place to spend the night. The price I paid for the room was not commensurate with the accommodations - a little overpriced.”

  • The lobby and rooms were beautiful and clean.
  • We had a very unsatisfactory visit to this hotel, tub stopped up, iron didn't work. had to move to new room. Late for Gala!

“The hotel does not keep up with it maintenance of tub and other little things, I realize the hotel is old but that is no excuse. I really didn't like the choice of this hotel. We were very displeased!”

  • The hotel, staff, room and the English Grill were all wonderful! Oh and the details in design was excellent!
  • There was no listed menu for the restuarants in the room, only descriptions of each. Pretty but would have liked more dining information.

“Short and simple! I loved it! The staff was wonderful from the moment we entered the hotel to the moment we left! I was very happy with our stay on our romantic weekend 6 year old little boy free.”

  • Beautiful historic landmark, the staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean and attractive.
  • We are a family of five and we could only get two full-size beds.

“The exterior entrance is located on the side. It looks like originally it was on the front of the building, if you pull up to that entrance it looks run down and empty. As you find the correct entrance there is staff waiting to help you unload and get in. It was fall so they had a huge antique silver server with hot spiced cider to welcome you. The room and the bath were very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.”
