“The sofa bed was not usable. The springs were sticking out and the mattress was completely worn out- the springs even poked through as it was so thin and worn.”

• The hotel lobby was beautiful, room so clean staff so friendly!
• I liked everything about our stay.

• Extremely clean, all amenities we needed.

“When we travel, my husband and I just want a fair cost on a clean, comfortable room with usual amenities. We don't want or need spa, exercise room or any other resort type accommodations.”

• Very clean, located close to lots of nice restaurants, good price.
• Wish there were more hotels just like this one.

“We stayed when we came to visit my son for his family day at ft. Knox. We had a wonderful time. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing which is what he needed to do. We stayed again when we came for graduation. There were hotels closer to the base but they all raised their prices and were not as nice.”

• The room had everything that was needed with a coffee maker, fridge, iron, etc.
• There wasn't anything we disliked.

• The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay wonderful.
• The breakfast didn't have much variety.

“We were there for our son's family day at Ft. Knox. I called to get directions while we were driving and Jennifer talked me to the hotel. They also had directions to the military base and were helpful with restaurants and shopping.”

• Exercise equip, old & broken.
• Even non smoking rooms smell of cig smoke/pool area poor.

“Staff was friendly but nothing to work with, workout equity old-damaged, musky smell entire hotel. Cigarette smoke. Pool area poor condition. Lobby great need to put same effort into rest of hotel. Pictures on web very deceiving, older hotel than thought. Not good for family.”

• Good variety of items on the breakfast bar compared to typical continental type breakfast.
• Window curtains blown by A/C did not stay in place.

• Location and price make it a reasonable value.
• Unfriendly, unwelcoming staff/mg. The late night desk guy was the only friend person on site.

“Unfriendly, unwelcoming staff and management. Good location and price make it a reasonable value. The room was ok, but then you are likely to be there only one night. I thought some of the unfriendliness might have been due to the price. I will not stay here again.”

• Desk person was very nice.
• Bed was not comfortable.

“We stayed here as a short sleepover on our way from Western KY to Cincinnati. It was ok, but our expectations were not high to begin with. Bed was not comfortable. Carpet was nasty. Bathroom was clean. They put us in a non-smoking room where the rooms on the other side of the hall were smoking. It smelled like smoke in our room even though it was designated non-smoking. Sufficed for short overnight stay, but wouldn't recommend for more than that.”

• Surrounded by great food choices and very family friendly.

“I recommend this hotel to families staying in Elizabethtown KY. The hotel is quite clean and the staff was very professional and helpful. The indoor pool area was a hit with the whole family. The luggage carts were easily accessible at check in and check out much to the joy of my husband. Great food choices are within walking distance to the hotel. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.”

• Lobby was beautiful it had a nice comp breakfast.
• Rooms were kind of small.

“we enjoyed the lobby and we enjoyed the places close by the hotel, we also got ten percent off dinner at any three of the close by dinning facilities, there were lots to choose from though.”

• The swimming pool is very small.
