“The bathroom was so small the mirror and dresser were in the kitchen. The kitchen stove was missing a leg which was promptly replaced with a folded up cardboard box. There is no parking we were awaken at midnight and asked to move our car for a bus! The recliner in the room was busted and staff said it was from spring brake, 2 months ago? Will never go back!”

“This hotel has an excellent location and beautiful views; however, pictures are misleading. Hotel is older and somewhat outdated. Not "dirty" but definitely not clean. The floor in our room stayed wet, with puddle water, our entire stay. Staff insisted we kept the air conditioner on too high causing this "condensation". If you are younger or traveling with children-stay away! Pool closes promptly at 10pm, stepping on grass carries a penalty of death and this is enforced by a very hostile grounds keeper? maintenance man? who is rude, abrupt and enjoys his ability to act in this manner. This gentleman appears to have unlimited power. I did not speak with one younger couple(18-50yrs) or family with children that stated they would stay, at Casa Loma, again. I also had a hard time doing any work because wireless Internet connection was very weak and slow.”

“I really liked this hotel. The front desk clerk was friendly and offered information about the surrounding area. The rooms were very colorful and reflected the ocean which sits directly behind the hotel. This hotel has a private balcony overlooking the Gulf which we liked very much. The pool was clean and the patio was organized. The only thing that took away from this being a perfect experience was that I felt that the price of the room was a little steep for the particular room we were in. Otherwise, this was a positive experience.”

“The Best Western Casa Loma is a pleasant place to stay but don't expect a beautiful hotel. The customer service is great, and the people staying and working there are very friendly. Every night you'll find vacationers hanging over their balcony talking to the people in the next room. The rooms are colorful and every room has a balcony on the beach which is a definite plus. The pool area is a little ugly, though, and there is no Jacuzzi. Also, the room I stayed in (313) was very moist at first; everything was wet. Though after running the ac, it cleared up. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay but I wasn't amazed.”

“Great hotel, but should have a continental breakfast at least. The pool hours are from 10am to 10pm. The pool should open up earlier and stay open till 11 at least. If you get a room with a kitchen check all the appliances went you check in. My microwave was sparking so we did not use it, upon checkout, I reported it to the staff and they immediately sent someone to check it out to try and lay blame on me to charge me for it before I left. Lucky for me it was internal malfunction. Great hotel overall on the beach, with nighttime lighting of the beach.”

“Motel has tile on floor, which allows sound from rooms to travel, especially at night, from above, you can hear most any movement. Voices do not seem to be a problem. Beds seem to need to be replaced. No refrigerator, and ice is rationed as they have no ice machine.”

“Very clean. Staff friendly for most part. Day security was very professional and my family felt safe. Convenient to attractions. Unhappy with professionalism of afternoon/night security guard. The complex is four stories, without elevators, keep in mind if traveling with lots of kids or luggage.”
