• Close to interstate highways.
• Old facilities in general poor repair.

“Although close to the interstate, this hotel failed to meet my expectations. The area was poorly lit and loud due to the proximity to said interstate. I expected more from a Howard Johnson.”

• Somewhere to sleep before the race. And the pressure of the shower.
• Waking up with rat poop in the bed next to my head

“The swimming pool was closed and looked nasty like several people vomited in it. Upon entry the bath tub had rat dung in it. The smoke detector kept going off due to the steam from the Showers. After getting over all of that and waking up the next morning and finding some more rat dung next to my head in the bed it was ok. That was because we were leaving to go to Talladega Super Speedway.”
