• Mostly friendly staff, good breakfast and social hour meals.
• Jacuzzi was not working properly for the entire week we were there.

• The free breakfast was amazing!
• The 1st hotel clerk we met was curt.

“It's very new, very clean, has large rooms, a great breakfast, a fairly nice indoor pool and hot tub, an exercise room and a great location to visit Lake Michigan and surrounding areas.”

“This hotel is a newer hotel geared to the person staying a week at the hotel. Nice facilities, great breakfast. I found a poor attitude with staff. Maybe just a bad night.”

• Queen size bed did not feel full length.

“Hotel and room was nicely equipped and clean. Staff was friendly. A drawback is that the hotel is by itself and not close to stores or places to eat.”

• Very nice room and facilities.
• Fold-out sofa bed very uncomfortable and the blanket for this bed had several holes in it.

“Very nice newer hotel. Location was kind of strange very out of the way. Room was very nice with the exception of the sofa bed. The mattress was very thin. Bedding for the sofa bed actually had several holes in it and appeared unclean. Usually enjoy breakfast in these hotels a bit more, but it was acceptable.”

• Location was far away from town.

• I loved the bed, It was very comfortable.
• I did not like the bathroom, I wanted a bigger bathtub.

“Overall, this place was wonderful. It had a homey feel and the staff was very courteous. I liked how there was a full kitchen and tableware. I also loved the morning breakfast!”

• Great food, nice rooms, enjoyable pool, and a nice facility all around.
• The hotel staff, specifically the front desk, lacked general customer service training.

“The hotel was set back in the middle of an industrial area many miles away from any area hot spots. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room and public areas of the hotel were. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! Unfortunately the poor customer service abilities of numerous front desk workers tainted my experience.”

• A kitchen with stove and refrigerator, dishwasher, large room, bed and pull out in sofa and a normal size coffee pot pool sauna.
• More condiments in the room for the coffee.

“I was very pleased, if I were on a long stay it would be perfect with the kitchen and large rooms, it was perfect very comfortable, like a home away from home.”

• Apartment like fell, rooms were huge very clean.
• Location off the beaten path.

• Beautiful, large room with kitchen. Comfortable bed.
• Smelled a little like garlic, stream in shower was extremely weak.

• It was clean, had a friendly staff and a great 1 bedroom suite and good food.
• A little stingy with soap, shampoo and toilet paper.

“My wife and I spent 13 nights at this hotel during January and February 2008. I thought the hotel was newer than it was. The management obviously takes pride in the property maintaining it in like new conditions and keeping it clean. The 1 bedroom suite was just a little smaller than our condo and we felt right at home. The room was laid out very efficiently and we truly enjoyed our stay. We hated to check out when it was time to return home. The location was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast every morning and the meal that was provided by the hotel each night Monday through Thursday. The maid service was great including washing our dirty dishes each morning that were provided in our fully equipped kitchen including utensils, plates, glasses and pans. We were looking for property to possibly purchase for our vacation home in the Holland/Zeeland area but decided with a hotel like this we would spend our vacation time at the Residence Inn of Holland. I would recommend this property to anyone!”
