“It was a lot better than what I expected for the price. The room and bathroom were clean, the TV and control worked fine, the water in the shower was hot. Not bad for a one or two day stay (at the most).”

“Right at arrival, the staff was rude and spoke with some garbled English. They gave us the wrong room, and then the key didnt work for another room. When they got us in, the room was never made up. All the time they were saying take it or leave it. When we finally settled in, the hot water was Luke warm to take a shower. When I called the front desk, all they could mutter in some form of English sounded like they were yelling. At night teen gangs and drunks hang around the neighborhood walking the corridors knocking on doors. Very dangerous area, forget calling front desk. Sleep in your car if this is your only choice.”

“It's an ok place to stay if you are a single male traveler. Room was clean, but fixtures were outdated and water temperature left something to be desired. Other than the mere basics, the room had nothing else. Staff was friendly. I would stay there again if traveling alone for a short stay, but I would not take my spouse or kids there. Not the hotel's fault. Just not in the greatest of areas.”

“I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel clean, quiet and conveniently located for our stay in Holland, MI. The staff was friendly and always available to ask for directions or give us their opinion on a nearby restaurant. I would stay at this hotel again next year during tulip time.”

“Overall, the room is fully furnished except it is too small to fit all these things in. Bathroom is very tiny, without ventilation. Carpet is kind of dirty. TV missing remote control. Location is excellent.”

“The price of $49.00 was what you would expect for that amount. Rooms were the same price for single/double bed rooms. The bathroom was not cleaned (urine on toilet/wall; shower curtain and wall had mold. The bed itself was comfortable but did have stains on comforter (didn't use). Amenities listed (microwave/sauna?) were not in room or found. The laundry people (foreign) would not respond when greeted with "Hello" (although I had just seen them laughing and talking with others). One man just stared when I said, "Good Morning", so I responded with, "Doesn't anyone smile around here?". Overall, you get what you pay for. I would say it is a 1 to 1 1/2 star rating. It was okay for what I needed it for, because of the price. I might stay there again, but would definitely look for a newer, cleaner, place to use for my tastes.”
