• Location.
• Not well kept, needed updating and cleaning.

“This is not a 2 star level hotel, it needs definite upgrading and improvement in cleanliness.”

• Clerk was friendly and helpful, easy to find.
• Unclean, roll away bed broken, Smokey smelling when it was suppose to be nonsmoking, blankets were stiff and rough.

• Fridge, microwave and internet.
• No iron in the room.

“We were there for a funeral and the internet came in very handy with e-mailing family and ordering flowers. Thank you very much for that convenient feature.”

• Clean rooms, convenient location, friendly helpful staff, a truly restful stay.
• Not the freshest newest hotel in town and only some rooms have irons/ironing boards.

“With great accessibility and friendly staff, the stay at this hotel has been quite pleasant. For long term business travelers such as myself, such amenities as the guest gym, pool, laundry equipment and a wide variety of local restaurants from which to choose are appreciated. Nestled in a safe location with good visibility, great landscaping and clean rooms, this American operated hotel is the place to stay.”

• Easy to locate.
• Furniture was old and dirty looking - didn't even dare to sit in chair.

“We have stayed in several hotel and some have been good experiences and some have not. This was not necessarily a good experience.”

• The bed was good.
• Paper thin walls, puke on toilet, service.

“We were told that there were no non smoking rooms available, even though it was 7 PM and the parking wasn't near half full. Had trouble getting towels delivered to the room. The room was so noisy that neither of us got any sleep, we could even hear foot steps in the hallway. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.”

• Staff was very friendly.
• Outdoor access thru dark and dingy hallways.

“If I wasn't a woman traveling alone, this hotel would probably have been fine, but the outside access thru dark and dingy hallways did not give me a great level of comfort or safety.”

• Helpful desk clerk.
• Scary, beer bottles and cigarette buts all over the parking area. Ice machine and vending machines out of order.

“Enroute to the vending area, there were rooms which looked like the doors were kicked in and did not close. Scary security issue. The cigarette butts and empty beer bottles in the parking area were disgusting.”

• Good value for the money.
• Wish there was an indoor pool and hot tub like other two star hotels in the area.

“Rooms were good-sized, clean, comfortable and well cared for. Staff was courteous and helpful. Although not a "destination" in and of itself, Kokomo Days Inn would be a good overnight stopover or "base of operations" for the vacationing family or business traveler.”

• Very clean, the bathroom was spotless to my surprise, soft water a plus!

• The continental breakfast was good.
• The exercise room smelled of smoke, and the treadmill was dangerous!

“It's a motel, not a hotel. The office is shared with a restaurant, and the rooms are arranged in an l around it. The rooms were typical motel style rooms, but had been recently redone. The pool is outdoor, so it was closed during our stay. The exercise room was very smoky, and the treadmill was jerky-I almost fell off several times. The shower ran out of hot water midway through my shower.”

• Smoking room, wouldn't accommodate.

“I understand they are giving us a great deal but they would have empty rooms anyway with out us! I requested a non smoking room and they said they did not have any. Breakfast was poor, I have just not been happy!”

• They allowed late check out, friendly staff.
• Work out room was in need of repair, overall cleanliness.

“This hotel would be the hotel to stay at if you are traveling and just need a place to sleep for the night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The workout room was in much need of attention. The air conditioner in the workout room was busted, two of the four machines were not safe to use. The outside of the hotel where you check in was nice and clean, but when you drive around to your room, the stairs and sidewalks were very dirty. The rooms were as clean. The breakfast was good.”

• Continental Breakfast was okay to weak in my opinion.
• Bed was broken down, entry door was busted in along with the door frame and outside wall, lots of traffic noise, to expensive for poor quality,

“The Days in of Kokomo Hotel was a poor choice at best due to low quality of cleanliness, the bed being worn out, fear of safety with the lobby informing customers of a $5 charge for insurance for stolen property left in rooms, battered entry door, frame, and outside wall. Terrible traffic noise, thin walls and ceiling, odor of pet and smoke, and absolute overall terrible.”
