• Soft water and the waffle was good.
• No good customer service skills for staff, dirty, not safe and good place to be.

“The whole experience at the hotel was very bad. The room was dirty, mildew and mold all over the room to include the whole bathroom, the AC hardly worked. The hotel was right next to a jail, the beds where very hard. There was hardly any food for breakfast and the guy at front desk was very rude.”

• We weren't charged for checking out 20 minutes after we arrived.
• This place is disgusting, entirely.

“This place was so disgusting that I can barely put words to it. This looks like a "pay-by-the-hour" hotel, if you catch my drift. The people who met us at the front desk looked like they would slit your throat for crack. The elevator is about the size of a refrigerator and as we went up to the 3rd floor, I saw my life flash before my eyes, the doors were opening on the way up and it shook like we were in an earthquake. When we finally reached our floor the carpet in the hallway was disgustingly filthy. I could see the dirt caked on. Then we walked into the room. Our king sized bed was a twin at the most. The ceiling had two square holes in it that looked like they may have wanted to put in a skylight at some point but ran out of money to buy the glass so there were two pieces of plywood covering them. There were vents hanging off of the ceiling and the smoke detector was not functioning. The batteries in the remote were duct-taped on. I was standing in disbelief and my fiance was sitting on the bed while we were trying to figure out what to do. After sitting on the bed for 5 minutes, he stood up and said that there was no way in hell that we were staying because the bed was definitely itchy and was making his skin crawl. We picked up our staff and went down to the front desk (using the stairs this time) as the manager was clocking in. We told her that there was no way that we were staying here because it is so nasty. She said she understood and that some of the rooms need a little work. Definitely an understatement. She didn't make us pay for the room (which was the only upside to this hotel) and we left. We ended up at the Hyatt Place by the airport which is the best hotel experience that I have every had and it was only about $20 more for the whole weekend than the Days Inn.”

• Beds were too soft.

“It was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance of my downtown meetings.”

“The hotel was dirty, nasty had a smell to it, no laundry service had to go nine blocks away to do laundry, no dry clean service. If you didn't turn on the light switches in a certain way the TV wouldn't work, to turn off the lights you would have to unscrew the bulbs, the beds were not made daily, I could go on forever.”

• Very friendly, great breakfast.
• Parking, needs update carpet & bathrooms. Too small elevator fits only 4 people.

“It was ok. Clean & friendly employee's. Could use a make over. Beds were comfortable & had nice big pillows. Really enjoyed the breakfast that was included.”

“This place was so dirty, we checked out, regardless of not getting a refund. The lobby was dirty, the room was dirty. My wife found a hair in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled of urine. Since we did not stay, we feel we deserve a full refund. We feel you should distance yourself as far as possible from this particular motel.”

• Reasonably clean and close to destination with free off-street parking.
• Inattentive staff, uncomfortable bed and too noisy.

“Fairly well kept older building, small rooms and elevator, with free parking, good on budget if desperate for space within walking distance of downtown. Did not use anything except room and parking space.”

• I have nothing good to report.
• This hotel needs some up dating bad.

“I was disappointed in this hotel. Other than the location this hotel needs some revamping as far as upgrading. In my room the ceiling look like it had been wet and crumbling, the shower knobs was about to fall off, the air conditioning unit was coming apart, just to Name a few. I had to call the desk because of rowdiness in the hall and adjoining room (at 1:30 in the morning, that went on for about 45 minutes). I stayed the complete night only because I was leaving first thing the next morning. If I was traveling with my wife I would not have stayed the night. There are more things I could complain about, but I think you get the picture. Sorry for such a bad review but you asked me.”

• It was dirty, smelled funny, and the elevator was scary!

“The location is great and for a downtown room the price is reasonable. The hotel itself is badly in need of remodeling. The carpet is worn, the paint is peeling from the walls, and the elevator was tiny, it shook, and was just scary. Parking areas were not marked; we drove around the block 3 as before we found the entrance to the underground garage. The elevators were not marked; when we left we ended up on a service elevator and had to find our way out from the laundry room. There were filthy ashtrays on the walls in the hallway and they were overflowing onto the floor and dripping some liquid down the wall. The heat was stuck on in the room, so we were nice and toasty. Luckily we were only there to sleep after a night on the town. I would not have stayed there during the day or spent another night.”

• Temperature of lobby, doors shut hard, smoke alarm hanging from wall.

“This was not a good hotel for the price. It was not in the best area of town, rooms were very old and I would guess that it looks like it is just being let go and should be demolished instead of remodeled.”

• Shuttle service to the convention center.
• The bath/shower was not good. It had black marks all over. The door did not lock properly and was open twice when I came back to the room.
