• This is a very high quality, first-class hotel. Rooms were recently redecorated.
• The self-serve parking garage is the oddest-shaped garage I have ever seen!

“The Hyatt Regency is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis very close to numerous attractions in the city. Although the hotel is not new, rooms and public areas have recently been modernized and updated.”

• The location was excellent for seeing the downtown sites.

“This was our second stay at the Hyatt and we received excellent treatment both times. The check in staff was efficient and familiar with the area. The valet parking was convenient and worth the $24. We retrieved our car several times during our stay and the attendants were prompt each time.”

• Very upscale and classy, helpful staff and good location.
• Amenities were not always included and very pricey.

“Great hotel for the money spent, but because it's a four- star hotel, many things were not included in the price that you would find in more economical places, such as free wireless, breakfast, and parking.”

• Was awakened at 6:15am by construction that desk staff was unaware of, due to being uniformed by maintenance.

“Overall, the hotel was wonderful. However, our stay was not as great as it could have been. We arrived at approximately 1:30 am on Wednesday 12/23/09. (With a Tuesday night arrival) and was awakened at 6:15am from construction sounds of drilling and hammering. The vibrations from the floor was very loud. When we left from not being able to sleep and checked out, we inquired at the desk, we were told, they were not aware of any construction going on in the building. After checking around, after some time they did discover that some maintenance was being done on same air vents and they had decided to get an earlier start on them than what was previously decided. Not a good nights sleep!”

• The best feature of this hotel was the location.
• The worst part was the parking cost. $28.00 plus tips for 13 hours.

“This hotel was nice, but nothing outstanding. I would stay there again, simply based on location.”

• The staff are gracious and respectful, helpful at every opportunity.
• The rooms are too warm for sleeping well.

“The hotel is well located in downtown Indianapolis, close to many venues for shopping and entertainment. Three blocks to the Amtrak train station. Staff is personable and gracious in providing service. Rooms are comfortable and pleasant.”

• Convenience and facility.
• Carpet and equipment are old.

“Located conveniently at the center of the downtown. The room we stayed has a great view of the state capital hall. The room is clean but the carpet and equipment seems old. The trash can was left on top of the sink when we entered the room.”

• Location & room.
• Parking fee and cold lobby environment.

“This hotel is huge. Offers nice rooms and good overall service. The location is great. What I do not like is that the lobby is open to the public as it shares location with many offices. It's a great choice for business but not the best for traveling with the family. I enjoyed my stay and I did a good choice by getting my hotel through Priceline.”

• The hotel staff checked us in and was very nice and gave us a great room. Very friendly staff.
• The vending machine only took a debit or credit card.

“This hotel was great for our needs. The beds were very comfortable, it was really quiet and we got a great rate through Priceline. We would definitely love to stay at the Hyatt if ever in the area again. Thank you staff for your welcoming personality.”

“clean, reasonably comfortable, but loosing its edge. Obvious wear and tear in the room, matresses just about at the end of their life cycle for comfort. Parking at 20 dollars plus daily no bargain.”
