“Impossible to control temperature in room. No air conditioning in hallways. Sliding glass door did not open. Fire alarm at 3 am, hotel personnel untrained to deal with this emergency. Returned to room at 3:45 and awakened again by loud conversation in hallway between two workers there to fix problem that caused alarm to sound. Was not asked how my stay was the next day upon check out; wrote to hotel after return and have yet to receive a response. Dreadful experience.”

• The bed was comfy and the shower head was great.
• The front desk person was rude when I checked in, but I loved the hotel.

“The hotel was great I loved it! My boyfriend really liked the massaging shower head and the comfy bed I liked it also. What I did not like was the front desk person who checked us in. He was on the phone for a couple of minutes. We had to wait for him to finish his conversation so we can check in. He did not let us know how to get to our rooms or show us where everything was at (swimming pool, laundry room, store etc). We had to figure it out for ourselves. Other than that the rest of the staff was very helpful and pleasant. I recommend staying here it is very neat and clean.”

• Great location and easy to find. The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was very spacious and comfortable!
• I thought the comforter was very light-weight.

“This hotel is an excellent value for the money and I highly recommend it. It's easy to find and located by several retail stores. The staff was friendly and efficient. Checking in and out was speedier than I'm accustomed to. I will definitely use their hotels again!”

• The pool and hot tub area was very clean and water temp was family friendly.
• Hotel is a bit of a drive off of the highway exit.

“Hotel was very clean. Service was friendly. Close to several restaurants. Free hot breakfast the day we stayed there gave us an extra value.”

• Beds were soft.
• Parking lot was puddle and covered in snow which was hard to bring baggage through.

“It was ok - nothing too special. When I called back later, the person helped me fine, but obviously they employ some stupid people. The location is ok for Mishawaka, but South Bend would have been better. Buffet breakfast was not hot enough, even though it had just opened at 7am, which seemed late to me. (wanted to leave at 6:30, had to wait) They do have a lovely (and free) coffee/tea bar with fresh fruit available 24/7.”

• All staff was very polite/friendly.
• Room too small, felt somewhat cramped.

“We ended up having to bring our 2 teenage boys. Hotel was great by not charging us for the room even when we offered to pay extra. The room was a little too small (even for just 2 of us), but very clean. Staff in the restaurant was very nice and friendly. Good location and excellent price.”

• Proximity to loading docks of Lowe's home store and noise from there.

• Noise. Poor staff.

“Noise level terrible on all floors! Front desk offered no security as kids ran wild until 2 am. Parents were partying downstairs in lobby bar/restaurant long after the 11 pm Closing time. courtyards have become low-quality Marriott properties. I have experienced before.”

• I did not get the room I expected: Handicap accessible, the worst shower floor in the world, smoking rooms my only option, have asthma and couldn't do.
