• They had very comfortable beds & pillows. Great sleep!
• They did not have a free continental breakfast.

• It was very convenient to shopping places.
• That there was a charge for breakfast.

• Lots of restaurants in the area although they were chains.
• Not easily accessible to Interstate 80.

“This Courtyard is one of the older, shabbier Courtyards I've been to. Cheap plastic cups in the rooms, complimentary hot beverages hidden in the lobby. Sole person on the desk got out of his chair to do something only when prodded. I had to ask for another room after being given an elevator room. Next one was near ice machine. I do not recommend the hotel.”

• Convenient, well appointed, good cost through Priceline.
• No complimentary breakfast.

“Easy on/off Turnpike; lots of restaurants and shopping in immediate area; swimming pool; work-out room; surprised and disappointed that there was not complimentary breakfast, although an ample one was available for cost.”

• The staff was great.
• I had the exact same breakfast at La Quinta free.

“It was great, except I was disappointed in having to pay $10 for breakfast. I ate the same breakfast in La Quinta and Drury Inn for free the weeks before.”

• Outdoor sign lights off - made it a little harder to spot.

• It had so much in the room that it was a little cramped for the size.

• Staff was eager to assist IF they were presented with a request.
• Failure to react to icing of the parking lot, which resulted in injury to myself.

“The mattress was shot. Despite terrible ice, salt was not laid out in the short distance between the door and the very few cars of guests and I fell, cutting my hand. The staff was very friendly. It is impossible to comfortably heat the room. One must get up several times during the night to either turn it on or off.”

• Very friendly and accommodating front desk staff.

“This location is perfect for anyone visiting the University of Notre Dame. The campus is only minutes away, as are many restaurants. Golfers will be happy to know that a very nice course is conveniently located nearby just off campus.”

• Condition.

“Impossible to control temperature in room. No air conditioning in hallways. Sliding glass door did not open. Fire alarm at 3 am, hotel personnel untrained to deal with this emergency. Returned to room at 3:45 and awakened again by loud conversation in hallway between two workers there to fix problem that caused alarm to sound. Was not asked how my stay was the next day upon check out; wrote to hotel after return and have yet to receive a response. Dreadful experience.”

• The bed was comfy and the shower head was great.
• The front desk person was rude when I checked in, but I loved the hotel.

“The hotel was great I loved it! My boyfriend really liked the massaging shower head and the comfy bed I liked it also. What I did not like was the front desk person who checked us in. He was on the phone for a couple of minutes. We had to wait for him to finish his conversation so we can check in. He did not let us know how to get to our rooms or show us where everything was at (swimming pool, laundry room, store etc). We had to figure it out for ourselves. Other than that the rest of the staff was very helpful and pleasant. I recommend staying here it is very neat and clean.”
