• Belgium waffle bar.
• Comforter, lamp shades & ceiling was stained, high prices.

“The waffle bar was great, get there early before all the children, it quickly turns into a circus. There were random stains in the room in strange places (ceiling, lamp shades, & bedding). Don't want to know what was going on before we got there.”

• The breakfast.
• The beds were hard, and not comfortable.

“Everything was nice, except the beds. They need new mattresses. The were hard, and everyone awoke up with backaches the entire time we stayed there.”

• The staff that served continental brkfast.
• Attitude of what appeared to be manager.

“Our room had leak in the ceiling. Water was running down the entertainment center. The remote filled with water. Not a new leak, there was a drain hole in the middle of the very large stain in the ceiling. The carpet was ripped and dirty. When we asked for another room we were told none were available. After waiting to be answered as to wether we could at least have some of our money back, magically 2 rooms were available for us to choose from. Each of these rooms had only one bed 4 of us. The teenage boys had 2 sleep on a old pull out, right by the shower. Very unfortunate no one could shower. No money was returned to us.”

“I stayed here one night during a trip to MI Adventures. My kids 8/10/13 loved the pools. The breakfast was great it the morning. The hotel staff was professional and provided great customer service.”

• The desk person. He did not know what he was doing.

• A convenient location and that is all.
• Housekeeping staff was loud, rude and blocked hallways. Hotel ran out of towels and much more.

“This hotel was horrible. Every morning we woke up to housekeepers yelling outside our door to one another. Language was disgusting, Hotel ran out of towels, they gave us a smoking room when specifically requested non smoking. Staff at front desk was rude and sarcastic with me when I first came in to the hotel. They only have one computer so it made it next to impossible to use computer in business room.”

• Loved the continental breakfast, and the computer room.
• Didnt have a small refrigerator or microwave in room.

“The hotel was very clean, affordable, and with an easy on and off access from the interstate. It is nestled in with all the fashionable restaurants and stores, and is on a direct route to the lakes mall.”

• It is close to allot of food joints and Wal-Mart.
• Had to change rooms, lots of disgruntled customers not very clean and air and heat fan not working.

“It is a decent place just not for the price. I stayed in another hotel for allot less money with the same quality of room.”

• Casual, met overall expectations. Finally, a warm pool!
• Loud guests that were awake and noisy most of the night (at least until 3:00am)

“Warm pool, with nice pool area (indoor). Outside pool closed for the season. Overall, clean and comfortable for the family. Good location for Muskegon. Stores/restaurants next to hotel.”

• Loved the indoor pool and spa facilities. Very pro-family oriented.
• No elevator for second floor.

“Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Felt like I got my $ worth. Indoor pool and spa were excellent with glass roof large room, video games, etc. Had "family night" on Friday night where they played a cartoon movie on the big screen TV, had popcorn, sundaes, and cookies for the kids along with kids board games. The rooms were clean and in good shape. Service was excellent. Only complaint was no elevator for the second floor rooms. Overall, very nice.”

• It was located around stores.
• The room was not very clean.

“The air-conditioned did not work well at all. You were sweating so bad you could not even put on your make-up or clothes. The room was not very clean. There was a receipt behind our microwave dated 05-07, which means it had been there a while. No one has taken the time to wipe behind the microwave. The bathroom was dirty with a lot of hair on the floor. We had a suite and there was really nothing special about it. The next morning they were all out of wash cloths. A hotel should not run out of linens. Especially when there is nothing special really going on.”

• The bathroom was not private enough had a wall missing.

“The room needed to have a more private bathroom. The shower curtain wall wasn't what we expected. But the staff was friendly and the room was clean.”

• Very convenient to the area we wished to visit. Very comfortable bed.
• Incredibly noisy. Staff seemed inexperienced. Pools too small. Not near good restaurants.

“This hotel tries to be more than it is. I was surprised by how small it was. Also, there is nothing to do that doesn't require a car to get to. It is, however, very conveniently located if one is driving to other attractions in the area and was cleaner than I had expected upon arrival. (I think they are in the process of repainting so there was peeling paint all over the building and parking lot.) The staff seemed very inexperienced and young. Lobby too small for continental breakfast. Two pools but both extremely small.”
