• Room was easy to be in.
• It could use an elevator and the breakfast could include more fruit. The AC/Heat was difficult to regulate. No screen in the window that opened.

“I have stayed at this Baymont several times. The rooms are comfortable. It would have been more comfortable if it had one bed instead of 2 queen size. Appreciated all the accessories included with the room - hair dryer, iron & board, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. Shower was great.”

• They were very nice in making sure we had a double room/non smoking room.

“We were very pleased with this hotel. The price was outstanding, it was very close to the express ways and restaurants. The continental breakfast was average. I expected more choices but it was fine. The staff was very nice.”

• The bathroom was very up to date, great shower.
• Nothing not to like.

“Very clean with a modern bathroom. Everything worked great. Easy to locate with lots of shopping nearby. Nice indoor pool, though we didn't get a chance to use it. Very happy with the accommodations and the price.”

• In was in the area we needed to be.

• There was a refrigerator in the room.
• Freezer-part of the refrigerator didn't work.

“This was a pretty good hotel for the price. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was decent, but a bit dusty in the corners. The TV had RCA ports in the back, which is good since I brought a game console with me. I'll probably be staying here again next time.”

• It was convenient to locations we needed. Not too expensive.
• Noisy. Highway noise and other patrons were noisy.

“This hotel is very attractive looking with a nice pool and friendly staff, conveniently located to all Muskegon businesses and not far from downtown. Nor is it far from downtown grand haven. Blocks from the mall and plenty of restaurants, but too closely built to the highway.”

• The pool area was amazing.
• The pool closed at 10:00 pm.

“The hotel was actually very nice! I can't believe that it's rated as a one star. The pool area is quite large and very clean. Our room was actually upgraded for free without us asking. Even though the hotel seemed quite busy! The staff was friendly at the front counter. They also offered free high-speed internet and a continental breakfast! They are very close (about a mile down the road) to shopping and a lot of nice restaurants like Red Lobster, Brann's, Olive Garden, Golden Corral, Logan's, Texas Roadhouse & Buffalo Wild Wings to name a few. I would definitely stay there again.”

• The pool area was great, not clean but it was put together nice.
• The hotel room was messy and not clean.

“I stayed for one night and I can honestly say that I was worried about staying there due to how they handled my phone calls. I made the reservation on the internet, I had never done this before, so I called to make sure that everything was set up and was ready for us to come. A woman put me on hold 3 times, one was to talk to another employee about towels, another was to make a reservation over another phone line, and the others I could not hear. This did not only happen once but I had to call 2 more times and the same thing happened. once we arrived, they were short with me and just said their 'welcome speech' (not very welcoming) like where our room was and where the breakfast was and when. Once we got to our room I almost went home. Right away the top bedding was shoved under the bed, like they were in a rush and it was sticking out so they just kicked it under it. But that was not it: their was paper plates left on the TV center, their was hair on my pillows, their was a line of crumb and dust along the whole room, their was mushrooms around the pool area (we started to call it the fungi hotel) and the tiles were missing in the pool and the hot tub to the point were my fiance cut his foot. then it came time for bed we took back the covers and their was two sheets on the bed one between the bottom sheet and the fuzzy blanket but then another between the fuzzy blanket and the top blanket. I have never seen this before. But then the bottom sheet that wraps around the mattress was not wrapped around the bed. So there was hair on the pillows, it was kicked under the bed, an extra sheet, and was not wrapped on the bed all of the way. I slept on my coat and we asked for another blanket and sheet. Then when we left, they did not give me a receipt or said thank you. I would have said something but they seemed so inconvenienced by us and I was not going to deal with their attitude and a messy room.”

• Water Temperature was not very hot.
