• Convenient parking, multiple entrances, close to restaurants, easy to find, close to multiple venues of interest.
• Few rooms with connecting doors. One bathroom in need of remodeling.

“Courtyard by Marriot of Montgomery, Alabama was a super experience for the price. Lots of good facilities: pool, meeting rooms, lobby, buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, lounge/restaurant recently closed.”

• Best price I found for such a quick trip loss of my grandmother.

• It has a pleasant environment and is close to the interstate and airport.

“When I arrived at the hotel the staff did not seem as welcoming as the past instances I had stayed at the hotel. I was placed in a handicapped room with two beds. When I inquired at the hotel the receptionist seemed displeased. I felt that placing me into a handicapped room was unprofessional due to the possibility of someone else actually requiring the services of the room being inconvenienced due my occupying the room without a handicap access need.”

• No instructions for internet hook up as stated in room guide kept calling front desk.

“Nice clean room close to interstate but noise was not an issue. No USA today paper at door as expected but I got over that! This was a good value.”

• The staff was the best they were very welcoming!

“I know I should take a moment and write to Courtyard Marriott, the staff; especially the ones in the evening were so kind. After a whirlwind business trip around Alabama, they were very welcoming and friendly. Just what I needed after that long day!”

• Placed in a handicap room, not issues except the non movable seat in the bathtub which got in the way.

“This hotel was wonderful. I can't believe that it was rate 2.5 stars because I stayed at la quintal across the street rate 2.5 by hotwire and this hotel was at least a star above that. Very comfortable. I'd love to stay here again.”

• Room had an unpleasant odor. Origin unknown.

“Decent hotel in a decent location. Barely meets 2.5* standards. Stayed in a Fairfield inn in Shalimar, fl the next night & was much superior to this courtyard. Its my understanding that the Marriott corp. Rates their courtyards higher than Fairfield inns. Not in this case. Would stay there again but would look for something better.”

“This is a nice hotel but the room had been beat up somewhat. There were some cosmetic things that needed to be attended to. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for what was offered. The food was sub-standard for the price.”
