“It was nasty and dirty. The lobby smelled like smoke the minute you walked in. The bathroom was disgusting with human hair all over the floor and walls. The mattresses had stains all over them and the sheets did not even stay on the bed. This hotel was disgusting. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my years of traveling.”

“The first room was near some very loud music, we requested a new room, and we were tired so we stayed. It was not real clean the shower did not work and there were small flies. It had a mildew smell.”

• Very old, bad smell, day staff very unprofessional.

“I will never stay at that hotel again. Very disappointed, enough that I did not stay the entire time. I was afraid to use the shower or sink. I brought sheets from home to lie on top of their sheets and pillows. Ran out of breakfast foods in am.”

• The fact that there were bugs all over the floor.

“This was the worst hotel experience Ive ever had in my life. I am a touring musician and I was given the worst service imaginable at this hotel and Ill never stay at another ever. There were mosquitoes in the sink, pill bugs on the floor, and dead bug carcasses all over the carpet. The room smelled terrible and the air conditioner did not work.”

• The breakfast was good,
• The bathroom was dirty; particularly the floor was filthy bad characters staying there. Thought there was a drug deal going down next door!

• Smell, door stuck, old dark carpet, soft bed.

“For the price, it was okay. If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel/motel. This is not it. This is an okay place to stay if on a tight budget. Location is perfect. Near shopping, food, turnpike and Notre dame university and downtown.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was situated in a very convenient location.
• The bathroom plumbing needs to be updated - drains were very slow.

“The hotel is conveniently located, is moderately priced, offers a free continental breakfast and is staffed by friendly and helpful people.”

• It was close to Notre dame, where we were visiting.
• The ceiling panels in the lobby were missing and it was in need of remodeling.

“The room itself was satisfactory; however the lobby area was unprofessional. The furniture was rundown and the microwave must have been 20 years old. The ceiling had water damage and some of the panels were missing, so I could see up into the ductwork.”

• It was close to the highway.
• The floor squeaked and the ceiling had water damage.

“This hotel is not very clean and the rooms need structural fixes. To get hot water in the shower you had to let it run for an extended period of time. We set the heat on 40 degrees to keep it cool enough not to have to open the window.”

• The cleaning staff was very polite.
• It definitely needs to be remolded.

“Based upon the "amenities" listed I thought this would be a good hotel for the price. It was over-priced for what it offered. And the road (US-31 Business runs out front) and hallway noise is really bad. don't stay here!”

• Smelled unpleasant, alarm clocks in the adjacent vacant rooms went off 3 times during the night; "breakfast" ends an hour before check out.

“Not impressed at all, the hotel desperately needed updating. It was extremely unpleasant to be awakened 3 times during the night by the alarms from two next door rooms, on one occasion they took 10 minutes to turn it off. Breakfast should at least be offered up until check-
