“This was, without a doubt, my worst experience. I have stayed in many hotels in my time and I can say, oh my God, this was the worst. I am 6' 4" tall and the shower head was only 5' if that off of the shower floor. I would not only strip the one star. This property would be better used for a parking lot!”

“Will not ever stay there again. Room was not cleaned before I arrived and they never cleaned it even after I called several times to the front desk. The cleaning people were foreign and the front desk claimed they could not communicate with them to tell them to clean it. Whatever! Will not ever stay there again!”

“It was really dirty, I felt sick taking a shower. The price was way out of control. When seeing football at Notre dame, stay in Elkhart or Chicago if you don't want crazy prices. If you must stay in south bend, definitely don't stay at the knight's inn.”

“This hotel gave me what I was looking for cheap accommodations and an excellent location. Very close to nod and sac. It included breakfast, which also saved money. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Air conditioning worked well on hot nights. Good selection of cable channels HBO, vh1, met. There even was a pool. Keep in mind this is an old motel.”

“The Knights Inn has no key cards and the doors on many rooms have apparently been hastily repaired with many sporting door jamb and lock repairs. Half of the outdoor lighting is out at anytime. The grounds are in dire need of landscaping as weeds are everywhere. The hotel needs a paint job and could use a total lobby remodeling as it is quite outdated and stinks of tobacco. This is a place for young thrifty people looking for no frills, however if safety is a concern look elsewhere.”
