• The location, clean and smoke free.

“This is one of the best hotels in the area with what a traveler looks for in a place to stay. I was impressed with the decor and the fact that free WiFi was available with cable TV and a great breakfast bar with meat!”

• Very clean and well maintained.
• Whirlpool tubs need maintenance.

“The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent. The only caveat: Our whirlpool tub did not work at all in the first room, so they gave us another room. That tub worked, but it kept stopping, regardless of the timer setting. With the exception of the tub, everything else was fantastic.”

• Bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, in a hotel.
• Not enough channels to choose from after the exhausting day we had. Reception was not good.

“Hotel was good. Cannot comment on breakfast, didn't have any. Room was comfortable, and clean in all aspects. The bed was the best thing about the room. Very quiet for staying on a Thursday. Would stay again.”

• Friendly staff! Nice clean rooms. Great beds!
• Air conditioning could be cooler. Toilet had a weak flush.

“Very pleased with our stay! Staff was very friendly, great breakfast (wish it was open later), very comfortable beds! Loved the microwave and fridge in the rooms. Pool and hot tub were excellent. The pool is cool when you get in, but it really was fine and you get used to it.”

• Clean rooms & friendly staff.
• The water temperature of the pool was to cold. The hot tub had way too much chlorine in it.

“The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The hot tub had so much chlorine in it that it burned your eyes. And the pool was to cold to swim in.”

• The room was updated and nice and the beds were great.
• It was right off a busy corner hard to get into at first.

“The hotel has been up dated or new. The staff was helpful with dining places. It was clean! People were enjoying the pool and hot tub, safe family atmosphere.”

• There were terrible thunderstorms the night we arrived and the hotel staff let weary travelers sit in the lobby and restaurant. How nice!
• Could smell the pool chlorine throughout the hotel. Satellite TV kept going in and out making it difficult/annoying to watch TV.

“The hotel room was above what I expected. It had a pull-out loveseat and coffee table which made the room quite large. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices considering it's a continental breakfast-I recommend making a waffle-delicious and fun! The smell of the pool chemicals was a bit strong the first night. I didn't seem to notice it for the rest of our weekend there. The satellite TV kept going in and out, even when it was sunny and 75 outside with no wind. That was a bit annoying but I wasn't on vacation to watch TV so it was tolerable. Overall I was very pleased with the experience and would stay there again.”

• Traveled with 3 young grandchildren, felt very safe.
• Pool water was cloudy, maybe too much acid in water.

“Spent 2 nights with 3 grandchildren ages 5,7,10. Staff was very accomodating. Very safe environment. First morning we missed breakfast but staff let the children have cereal anyways. Rooms were very comfortable. Only complaint was swimming pool chemicals not balanced. Water was not clear and kids complained of skin and eyes burning.”

• It had a pool.
• All they had left was a smoking room and the smell of smoke was awful.

“When we arrived the only rooms with double beds was smoking. The stench of the room was awful. And you could see how the walls were yellow from the smoke. The comforter had a couple small holes were someone's cigarette burnt thru. I wasn't 100% satisfied.”

• Location was convenient to all my calls.
• Continental breakfast was a little above average.

“This hotel was close to my calls and had easy to use internet service. I had a clean, clean comfortable room and the staff was very accommodating. I'd definitely stay here again.”

• The pool was small and the water was cold.

“Overall we were happy, the breakfast was nice. Had hot eggs, sausage, and waffles. The pool was very small, and the water was too cold for me and my infant to swim.”

• They were quite accommodating when we asked to change rooms.
• Not visible from the Interstate or main highway.

“I found this hotel to be quite clean, accommodating to our needs, and with a nice breakfast buffet. It had the amenities that met our needs and we would stay here again.”

• The room was very clean and comfortable - nice seating area.
• The lobby and breakfast area were somewhat dirty.

“Overall, not bad but I was expecting a little more out of the facilities than was indicated by the star rating. It was given the same star rating as a nearby Holiday Inn but the Holiday Inn was much nicer.”

• Seemed very clean in room.
• Problem with the waffle mix, put back in machine.

“When we ate at the breakfast buffet, the waffle mix broke. The attendant from the front desk cussed, clean it up but put it back in the machine after it was all over the counter, not very good health wise.”

• The exercise room and pool were very dirty and gross.

“The hotel and rooms are great for the price. The pool and exercise room were horribly dirty and gross. The staff was mediocre, nothing special, but friendly.”

• The bed was fantastic. Best bed I have ever had in a motel.
• The buffet breakfast could have been a little classier but was still nice.

“For the money, it was a great deal. The room was more than expected with refrigerator, microwave, iron, etc. The best was exceptional. Great experience.”
