• Friendly staff.
• This hotel should be shut down by the government.

“The pool was horrible! The water was black, lodge chairs broken. When room was ready, not to our surprise, it was stinky, ceiling caving in, broken night stand, more dust on furniture than you can imagine, bathroom had mold all over in the shower. Staff was nice but we just couldn't stay another minute. They need a major over haul.”

• It was a place to stay.

“The plumbing in one room was backed up called about it the first night no one showed up to fix it, had to call about it the next day and ended up having to switch to another room. The carpets were so dirty the bottoms of our feet and/or socks were black. The rooms were not very clean, very dusty, the freezers in the refrigerators needed to be defrosted and they were not very clean. The wireless internet was not reliable at all. Me and my family were Hurricane Gustav Evacuees and were happy to have a room but, our experience with that hotel was less than desirable. The pool was not usable, it was covered and the water was dark forest green. Had the pool been operational it would have given my daughter and a lot of other hotel guests something to do while we were evacuated. I would not recommend that hotel to anyone and it is by no ways a 2-star hotel.”
