• Our check in person was great, pool was excellent.
• Could not read AmeriHost sign.

“Excellent location, easy to find. Friendly staff, Clean rooms. Pool very nice, Hot tub did not work. Will stay here again in the future.”

• Not prepared for the continental breakfast.

“This hotel was well below the average for a Best Western. Apparently the training is lacking in this location. The worst part of this stay was the continental breakfast. The only item that they had for the breakfast was bagels plain only. To top off the poor breakfast, this hotel was out of butter they did not have anything to put on the bagels except jelly and orange juice the only type that was offered. When I approached this issue with the gentleman that was working, he informed me that they did not stock up like they should have. This hotel fell so far below what I was expecting that I could not wait to get out and leave. Do not stay at this location.”

• wonderful location, pool, clean room good beds.
• Could have had a little more room sink area toiletries.

“We enjoyed our stay very much. Did not spend a lot of money which allows us to do more traveling. The room was very comfortable and clean. Good beds with good pillows. Will definitely look up more Amerihosts in the future.”

• Very convenient location. Many places to eat. Many gas stations to fill up at.
• Had squeaky beds. Every time you moved it squeaked or moved.

“Very nice hotel away from the highway on/off ramps but close enough to get back on them. Good variety of restaurants and gas stations to choose from. Beds are squeaky.”

• I liked that there were only ants and not roaches.
• Let's see, the broken deathtrap chair or maybe the saggy bed, which was worse.

“If this hotel is considered "2 stars" by ANYONE, they must be crazy. Our requested room wasn't available, so they put us in a smoking room. There were burn holes in everything. The whole place reeked of cigarette smoke. The window was so grimy with smoke that we couldn't even see out of it. Opening the window (with no screen!) did nothing to help. The chair was broken. One arm practically ripped off exposing all kinds of sharp objects. UNFIT for sitting in. The bed was so saggy in the middle that we had to stack pillows to keep us even remotely flat and even that didn't help much. The carpet was covered in who knows what kind of stains. And the worst part was the ants everywhere. There was no place to put our suitcase on up off the floor, so eventually the ants made it in there too. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone period, let alone someone that I consider friends and family.”

• Put us in handicapped room, smoking.

• 5 miles to airport (easy to get to), plenty of places near to eat.
• Breakfast starts at 6:00 ¿ 7:00 AM. Flight need to be there one hour early - have to leave by 5:45.

“Over all a great place to stay. Hot tub, swimming pool and friendly staff. the area is about to grow with the NEW Indy airport exit being just down the road. Plenty of places to eat within a block or two of the motel.”

• Front desk staff was wonderful.
• Beds were VERY hard and unstable.

“We stayed after a long drive and were looking forward to crashing for the night. After a pleasant front desk experience, we got to our room -- looked nice enough, until we sat down on the bed. The beds were VERY inexpensive, hard, and felt like they were going to fall apart. We were very disappointed, but know we will never stay in another AmeriHost again.”

“People were very noisy in the hallway and the TV in the breakfast area was so noisy all night long. I finally went out of my room and turned it off at 1AM but someone turned it back on but at a little lower level. I might have got 3 hours sleep total. Not enough went you have to work the next day.”

• Doors open to inside hallways.
• Bathroom dirty-hair on shower walls, cracked toilet seat. Dirty floor corners-Bedspread very stained/sheets stained/very hard bed-walls thin, bad smell.

“This is probably the worst hotel in which I have every stayed. While, for the price, I didn't expect deluxe accommodations, I at least expected it to be clean. The room was dirty and smelled badly--at first I thought I was in a smoking room until I looked for the symbol on the door. The walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbor's phone conversations. When I pulled back the bedspread, there were huge stains that didn't appear on the top of the bedspread, but were quite visible underneath. The sheets were old & thin and the bottom sheet was stained with what appeared to be small 'droplets' all over. Bed was rock hard. The bathroom was extremely bad-cracked toilet seat, someone's long hairs were numerous on the shower walls. Corners where wall met floor were built up & dirty. Location-wise, it was back off the "beaten path," and as a woman traveling alone, I didn't appreciate having to park down at the back end of the building and go up the back stairway--all alone. The other 'guests' were an interesting bunch. I did not feel particularly safe here and slept little. The only good thing was that the room doors do open to an inside hallway rather than to the outside.”

• The room was clean.
• The ice machine and the whirlpool were both broken.

“I was disappointed as I've always been given at least 2 double beds. When I got there, I was asked if I knew the room was one double bed. I said yes and that I wasn't real happy about it. (Remember you don't know what type beds you will get when giving a price. It only says whatever they give you will sleep 2 people) They ended up giving me 2 double beds at no additional cost! The hotel was not fancy but the room was clean and the location was good for what I needed.”

“The pool was very nice; however, the hot tub was under repair. This was a nice hotel for a weekend visit at Grandma's.”

• They had free HBO.
• One of the outside doors of the hotel was broken off its frame and anyone could enter the premises. The sauna was completely inoperable.

“Considering the broken door allowing anyone access to the inside of the hotel, and the fact that I did not receive my requested wake-up call for both mornings of my stay, and the shoddy facility, I would recommend anyone to completely avoid staying at the Amerihost Inn in Plainfield, IN”

• Nothing, it was dirty and nasty the hot tub was not in service.
• The room was dirty, the hot tub was not working, so we couldn't use it.
