• The hotel was worn out. Nasty rooms, beds, pillows etc

“A runned down facility! Take it off your list of hotels. If I paid $19.99 I would have felt it was a fair price.”

• The hotel staff was super friendly and it was easy to get to.
• No complaints.

• Close to I-24.
• Terrible Smokey/musty smell. Not very clean.

“I didn't like much about it. It had an overwhelming stale smoke smell. It was kind of dark and not very clean. The bedspreads had questionable stains on the underside. The newspaper machines didn't work. The coffee pot was crusty. The water pressure was low and the water would only go to Luke warm.”

• Nothing.
• The hotel was dated, the entire hotel had musty odor to it, toilet seat was broken and not enough light in bathroom.

“Overall I think the hotel should rank no higher than a one star. If it was a one star I could understand the condition of the hotel.”

• Location, the mattress was good.
• Run down, carpet was worn out; this place needs to be torn down.

“Let me start out by saying that I stay in a lot of hotels and I am not very picky. This place needs a complete remodel. Everything from the carpet, TV, lobby, bathroom, sheets and towels is old and worn out. Stay somewhere else.”

• The location was good. Breakfast was good.
• Non smoking room smelled heavily of smoke.

“The room was in need of updating. The microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker made up for some of its short comings.”

• Clean room good price helpful cleaning staff.
• The breakfast had no meat or eggs, just donuts bagles and waffles.

“Overall we had a good stay but we were disappointed in the breakfast and the fitness center (2 ellipticals and a treadmill).”

• It is old, outdated; bathroom was too small and dirty.

“I was very disappointed in this hotel. It is outdated! The bathroom was so tiny, that only one person at a time could be at the sink. The breakfast was ok, but no healthy options like yogurt or fruit were available. This hotel should definitely not be listed as a 2 star hotel. You need to bump it down to 1 star!”

• It's a place to sleep.
• The smell of the hallways.

“I was there on business and it was fine because I just slept there. The hotel reminds me of a scary movie from the 70's. The hotel definitely needs to be updated.”

• The only positive is decent continental breakfast.
• Room and hallways smelled bad. Seriously needs remodeling, shower head was just right height for a nine year old.

• The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
• There was animal and human hair all over the room including in the bed sheets and shower.

“At first glance the room looked okay, but when I pulled back the bedspread, the clean sheets had animal and human hair all over them! The other bed had human hair in it as well. I'm not just talking a long head hair either! The carpet was also covered in hair. It was so gross! Otherwise, the beds were hard, the bathroom was small and not clean, and the hotel is in a bad part of town. This is an economy one star hotel only. I will never, ever stay in a Ramada again!”

• The breakfast was somewhat redeeming.
• Not sure I could even give it one star.

“This hotel was mildew smelling, the AC did not work adequately, the bathtub was peeling paint/porcelain, the bath towels were abrasive. I became terribly congested and now have a cold from staying there! The breakfast area and food supplied was actually quite nice, but unfortunately, overall, I would have to say that it was not a nice experience.”

• Location.
• The amenities were very poorly cared for. The air conditioning was not turned on in over 100 degree heat! Bad experience.

“We were very dissatisfied with the Ramada Inn in Murfreesboro. Not only would I not recommend it to friends, I would warn them against it. The only place the air conditioner was turned on in the whole building was the lobby. The rooms had been left all day in 104 degree heat without air conditioning. Even the hallways were sweltering. The desk clerk was not helpful at all. We slept miserably. The next morning, the manager was apologetic, but not overly sympathetic. We will not be staying here again.”

• It looked like a crack hotel.

“This hotel was so bad I could not stay; I walked away and paid for another room for 2 nights. It was dark, smelly, my room had the covers messed up (like someone just got up from a nap); It was old, cheap, unsavory people standing in doorways. I felt unsafe and left. I feel so strongly about this experience I even sent a letter to Ramada to tell them that this hotel gives their company a bad name.”
