• Housekeepers were efficient to have room ready each day upon with fresh towels.
• Being overcharged.

“Overall it was a good stay. The rooms and pool was clean. Some of the staff was very friendly.”

• Airline lost luggage. Hotel complimentary gave me personal hygiene items.
• Hot tub was closed.

“For a business travel to Benton Harbor, most Hotel are located off of I-94. Since this is not a very safe area of town, I was glad to see the security measures in place, including an in-room safe.”

• I liked the pool, but the Jacuzzi didn't work properly.
• You falsely advertised. This was not a Howard Johnsons, so it did not have the expected quality, and there was no continental breakfast as advertised.

“This is not a Howard Johnsons with their expected level of franchise facilities, but an executive inn. It made it very difficult to find. The facilities were largely run down and dilapidated with an archaic, slow wireless internet service.”

• The pool was nice.
• My room was given to someone else.

“The hotel overbooked and I had to settle in a room that was far below hotel standards. You had to put your shoulder into the door to get it open. The bed was old and very cheap. Sink in bathroom was falling off wall. The shower leaked all over the floor. You had to go to front desk to get towels for pool.”

• It had a bed, TV, and a shower.
• It needs many cosmetic changes.

“The hotel is not Howard Johnson, yet. But they represented themselves as a Howard Johnson because they are in the process of buying. I was thoroughly disappointed with my reservations because once I saw the hotel there was nothing that I could do but stay. It had already been paid in full!”
