• Close to beach.
• Very dirty and scary.

“There was only 3 staff people we saw at all times had to wait for elevator for 15 minutes! Also bathtub was horrible and no one wanted to use it waited until we got home 2 days later! Washcloths and towels were yellow all over and very dirty looking. Around shower head was a hole cut out! We thought a hidden camera was in it needless to say we won't be going back. We "dubbed" it "the shining" it was very scary also found hairs on our sheets that made us wonder if they had already been used. If it was better kept it was in a good location.”

• Not enough room to say all that is bad about this hotel.

“The location is perfect-it is just where a hotel should be but. The room we stayed in was $135 for one night without two double beds. No kitchenette or mini fridge include. It was not what I expected at all of a name hotel. The bathroom ceiling was covered by hanging pealing paint that was dropping off, the air conditioner in the room was broken. For this they gave me 30% off the bill-the bathtub was so sceevy that we didn't use it -we waited until we go home even though we felt gross after a day at the beach-the indoor poor had so much slime on the water level markers in the pool that they were deep brown. The hot tub was set so hot that we couldn't sit in it. When I asked if it could be turned down they said that is the way it always is. No thermostat to tell how hot it was and we did look to see if we could find one. This hotel used to be a holiday inn and my family has holiday inn hotels for 20 years and I cant believe they let this one get this bad but what frosts me more is that clarion has taken over with one this worn out in a great location and all the updated they did was carpet in the hallways and update the lobby. The hotel is so tired & outdated-no thermostat in room, exhaust fan in bathroom, coffee maker in bathroom and sheets that have been washed so often that they no longer stay on the bed. Stay away!”

• It wasn't crowded. Free internet.
• The hallways were unheated. Breakfast was not good.

“This hotel gave the impression is was closing. Very few guests there, small staff. It was winter and the hallways were freezing. The free breakfast was slim pickings. I will never stay there again.”
